is it good for air brush pating

Asked by: jack
This unit should not be used for painting because it adds oil to the line. For painting, you need to use only a moisture/particle filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product is easy to install and easy to use. Could be little more in the instruction how to install and use but it's easy to figure out. I bought it for a wood/garage use. Great price thru Homedepot

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but needs preparation I received the regulator & oiler unit in good condition. The filter and oil reservoirs were loose, and initially I thought that I had a severe leak in the unit. But a little investigation and soapy water soon puzzled out the mystery. After tightening the collars around the filter and reservoir the units functioned as advertised. I wished that they came with brass collars for attachment to air supply lines. Since using pipe dope creates a messy, but sufficient seal, and Teflon tape would've been much cleaner, and easier for connection to supply line. The oiler is thirsty, and a 1/16 to a 1/32 turn of the screw is all that I need, any more and you'll be oiling the outside of your tool (at least in my experience). Oh, and by the way, take the oiler screw out, apply a little oil to the O ring, and then run the screw down. This allows the O-ring to seat and seal. Then, adjust for the delivery of oil to your pneumatic tool. The price was right and, after a little tweaking, good for my little garage shop. YMMV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed for pneumatic tools that require lubrication during use I just purchased this and do not have much time on the tool yet. I have rated quality average, given the limited use...but, it performs as expected. The price is excellent compared to competing products. My only concern is having too much lubricant spayed into a nailer for a multi-day project; time will tell.
