The Cadet Electric Baseboard Heater utilizes convection heat to provide efficient warmth. Designed for ease of installation with pre-punched mounting holes, this hardwired heater can be wired at either end. Rugged U.S.A. steel construction with powder coated white paint for a durable, premium finish. A thermostat is required and sold separately.

Yes, you can use 12/2 wire on a 15 amp breaker for the 96 inch 2,000 watt 240 volt baseboard heater.

I see 1500 watts and 2000 Watts...Could this affect the need for greater capacity on electric panels?

The greater the wattage of the heater the more space it will heat. As a rule of thumb we recommend 10 watts per square foot. Keeping this in mind 1,500 watts will heat approximately 150 square feet and 2,000 watts will heat approximately 200 square feet.

If wiring the 1,500 watt baseboard or the 2,000 watt baseboard separately you can use a 15 amp breaker. If combining these two baseboards for a total wattage of 3,500 watts you will need to use a 20 amp breaker. Read Less

does it also come in dark brown, brown or almond color

The only other color the 8F2000 baseboard heater comes in is almond.
