Answer:
You can hear the fan run. Not what I would call noisy, much less noise than a bath exhaust fan.

Thank you for your question.
Yes, the Com-Pak Twin 3,000 watt heater is rated for 208 volt and 240 volt. At 208 volt the heater will run at a reduced wattage of 2,250 watts.
For safety reasons this heater needs to be wired with ground. If needed, please consult a licensed electrician.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little heater Needed a heater to replace an old unit. This unit is much smaller than the old unit in physical size but same wattage and btu output. Had to close up the large hole in the wall from the old unit but this unit was so much easier to install with a very clean looking installation. Really like that it is made in USA (some parts from China). June 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this heater We have a sunroom that is very hard to heat, a 110 heater will not heat it. We were using a 40yr old 220 heater to heat it and it done a good job but it finally gave up the ghost so I searched for a 220 at Home Depot and liked the reviews so I ordered it and we love it just hope it last a good while it heats the room as well if not better than the space heater we had and now I have no more sitting in floor so yes we love it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great heater!! Very easy to install, looks great and keeps the room nice and comfortable! February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great little heater heats my 800 sq ft room great. I recomend hooking it up to a cadet thermostat. March 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great purchase! very easy to assemble, and fit exactly between 2 studs. puts out good heat in my 400 sq ft office. December 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap I have not had good luck with the Cadet brand in-wall heaters. The heating elements are very susceptible to burning out. I have replaced every heating element (7) installed in a remodel within 5 years. I now wished I would have just gone with baseboard. They come with a two year warranty, which I was able to use on the first 2 burnouts. Cadet instructs you to power down the circuit, take the grill off and spray out dust once a month, Ridiculous! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy, Happy Customers As an electrical contractor I've installed well over 100 of these and never had a problem. They are quiet and heat an area very quickley. The best part is that they don't take up a lot of room like the old baseboard type heaters. I highly recommend these heaters. Many people don't like electric heat, because they say they use to much energy. If you can heat a room quickley and not have to run your heater all day you can say a lot on your energy bills. This is not a heater you would use to heat the whole house. It works best in individual rooms that you can close the door and keep the heat in. Like a large bedroom. Cadet has many products and I've installed a number of them. If you size them correctly for the area and use wall thermostats, these heater can really do the job. May 19, 2010
