Lots of room for meat. Temperature is consistent. Door thermometer is way off. (Use a good digital thermometer instead.) Door leaks a little smoke.

Great, well make smoker. Packaged well, only one minor dent on the back. Easily converted it to natural gas. When converting to NG you will need to light it with lighter. Takes some getting used to dial your desired smoking temp with adjusting the gas and air vents.
Wish it came with wheels, as it takes 2 people to easily move not to mention, hot! Check out the aluminum angle iron frame I had custom made with an added aluminum plate to make a useable shelf for only $150. My dad decided to go with an electric smoker so I have an extra one if anyone is interested I will let it go for $150 plus shipping.

Extremely easy to assemble and set up . Very accessible water and wood trays . The only way things could be better is to make reservations in your favorite barbeque restaurant!

The unit is well built and seems to have a good quality burner. It also consumes less propane than I expected. The inside is very spacious and will easily hold even the largest briskets.
The sheet metal construction is a little thinner than I expected, which causes the temps to drift. Not a big issue if you keep the water pan full to help stabilize the temps. The burner gas knob is also very sensitive, which requires some getting used to. Once you get the temp set, it does not require much adjustment.
Overall the food that comes out of this smoker has been outstanding every time.

Easy to assemble. Smoked Beef Jerky and it came out wonderful. Got the propane bottle at Ace Hardware (bought it to own brand new for $15) and then it's $20 to fill each time you need it filled fully. But, you don't have to return and trade and end up with some used bottle..you own your own and you can keep it nice.
The smoker worked very very well. And, it looks MUCH NICER in person than it does on the internet. The smoker weighs 75 lbs, but easily manageable as there are handles on each side, so 2 folks can easily carry where you want it to be. We got the cover for it too and it's durable and made well. We can't wait to smoke our own ham and Beef Brisket when the weather warms up. Glad we got propane and not electric. We researched a lot, and feel this was the best for the money. The smoker was also $80 less than the major competitor of this store. We did go on line and buy 2 extra jerky racks and the beer can holder for chickens. Can't wait to try chicken!!!

This smoker is very nice, especially considering the price. Easy to assemble, sturdy and held the temperature perfect. Recommend using an external temperature probe. The thermometer on the grill was off by about 15 degrees (so was our old one). My husband is thrilled with this new smoker!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doityourselfer After much research I decided on this smoker.....
because of all the favorable review across many internet websites.
I was a little concerned about damage in shipping since that was mentioned several times but mine came in perfect condition, no dents what so ever.
Assembly was easy and fast and instructions were clear. I also watched a youtube video on assembly and that reinforced the hardcopy instructions. All pieces there and the material seem like a good quality weight metal. I would have liked the door to be a heavier gauge metal, but that's just me. Still seemed better that others that I've seem or used.
Seasoned and noticed smoke escaping from around the door. I was concerned with the amount of smoke but after cooking a test piece of meat the smoker seemed to hold a temp and with minor touching of the temp dial the temp would fluctuate 20-30 degrees. I could control the temp better with the side vents than the dial. The outside temp was in the imd 30's and a little windy so I think during warmer weather it will hold a steady temp.
My only concern is with the smoke leakage from around the door but that's a personal thing and didn't appear to affect the smoking of meat or temp variation. I still may attempt to seal the door but that is just me.
I would definitely recommend this over other smokers even though it does not come with extra shelves or rib rack or a smoke vent cap to prevent rain from entering the top or separate door for wood chip and water. This is still a better made product just not all the bells and whistles.
