Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bosque Should have read & trusted the reviews regarding the "leaky" spigot ......
Looked like what I needed and I assumed the Coleman, Made in USA would be of high quality. The canister itself is great, sturdy and just fine. The spigot, though, is a real weak point. 1) it continues to drip a little when fully turned off so leaves a puddle on the floor below - if the canister is turned upright it will not leak, yet I wanted to have a fully turned off capacity available without having to flip the jug. 2) As other reviewers have pointed out the spigot is weak and along with the leaking after a few days use mine, too, cracked, causing more leakage. Coleman needs to be notified on this product weakness as they can certainly create a fully functional, sturdy and non leaking spigot. When they do I would gladly keep this jug, yet now will be returning it and looking elsewhere for what I need and want.

Easy to carry water jug and lightweight. Best construction cooler for the price.

Have to be careful where you leave the lever when you shut it off, or it drips a little. Other than that, excellent. I am getting another so I'll be balanced when I carry them back to the trailer.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unhappy The spout is no good.
The spout is made badly and is very weak. I have broke 2 in 3 months. I do not see how I can replace the nozzle only but will need to replace the whole thing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheDIYer Great 5 gal Water Jug
Very sturdy and easy to use. Five gallons is the perfect size for even my wife to lift and handle. Be careful, the O-ring seal on the cap has a tendency to fall out.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Riley Valve handle broke
I got 6 of these a year or so ago, storing mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, and water. No problems in storage, but took one of water camping and the valve handle broke off, making it hard to use. It may have been age, tho it was stored inside. The valve plastic strikes me as more brittle. I wouldn't store these on their sides for any length of time. The container itself seems rugged.
