I started in the electrical field about 7 months ago. Needed tools and bought this set as it had everything I was told I would need. Its a starter set. These tools arent meant to be your "go to guys". The linesman pliers are ok, a bit bulky. Had trouble cutting 6 awg wire and the grips come off. The wire strippers werent on point either, the sizes were a bit off and i had to ring my wires to get the jacket off sometimes. The screwdrivers are good, i still use the square tip it comes with when im wiring up panels. The 5 in 1, however, fell apart completely. The bag is not durable, all of the pockets eventually tore on the bottoms and i had tools falling out. I would recommend this set for a good starter set but if you have the money go ahead and buy klein because you will be spending twice to replace these as they break down. Your tools are you livelihood so get something that you will only have to buy once and you can rely on in the field.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by ermackey Good DIY Set
My rating is based PURELY on a DIY level. I cannot vouch for their quality for professional use. However, the tools are relatively heavy-duty and well insulated. I ran a few new homeruns and circuits this past weekend and the tools exceeded my expectations. The multitool was solid and did not strain under any of the functions. I was using mostly 10 gauge wire, so that is relatively thick for most home applications, relatively speaking. The metal used in the tools were heavier than my normal tools. The screwdrivers has sharp tips and good weight. I would highly recommend for a DIY. I also like the green bag. This makes it easy to keep those tools together and scream "ELECTRICAL TOOLS ONLY" so my wife doesn't use it for other tasks. The only problem is that now my wife is complaining that I bought more tools. I am not sure she appreciates the value of good insulation on electrical tools compared to the cheap stuff I use for carpentry. :)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by TEACH Great Starter Set of Tools
I teach Electrical Technology and although I am a DIEHARD Klein tool user myself, my students cannot afford them yet, but this 22 piece tool set is affordable and it has almost everything a new student needs to be effective and productive! A Great Value on Hand Tools!
