Can I control multiple kits with a single remote?

I want to use this product for above cabinet lighting. I have 7 cabinets that are not physically touching. There is an outlet above each of them that share a circuit. A wall switch controls all the outlets. If I buy 7 kits, will I be able to control all of the lighting at the same time with a single remote? Will the controllers remember their programming (color, fade, etc...) after I cut power to them using the wall switch? Thanks in advance

Press the fade button on the remote. If it doesn't work possibly the controller is faulty

8 ft. Color Changing LED Flexible Tape Under Cabinet Light with Wireless Remote is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I bought this product to illuminate the top shelf of a book case. Really didn't care for the multi colors, but wanted the light to be as flat as possible, and liked the remote idea due that the control box would be in a hard to reach area. Had issues with splicing two pieces together. The instructions call to cut the light ribbon at certain points, then "carefully peel back plastic (rubberish) coating" to expose the contact points for the jumpers. This is not easy to do and took some time. It also left some glue residue on the contact area that I had to clean off so the contacts of the jumper would make a good contact with the contact points on the ribbon. The ribbon doesn't really self-align in the jump connector so you have to be careful to make sure they line up before clamping the connector on. I installed the lights with them on, which I'm glad I did, as I was having contact issues through the jumper. Once I had the ribbon in place I had to play with the jumper contacts to get all the LED colors working correctly. Once I had it set it seemed to stay. The second thing I didn't like about the ribbon was the white color, it's more on the blue side than bright white, not really what I was looking for. In the attached picture you can see the blue hue, this is the white setting tho the camera is picking up more of a purple than the blue. But you can see it's defiantly not bright white. The last issue I had was the the antenna. At first I had it hanging down behind the book case, but it wasn't picking up the remote. I had to re position the antenna in a couple of different positions to get it to work properly. It's ok for the application I'm using it in, but if I had to do it over I would pick a different product especially at it's price point.

This was my fourth set of these lights that I have placed in strategic places in the basement I have just finished remodeling with a theme of a Civil War era "Tavern". These light strings are great for putting behind and under low lying overhangs built into the walls. I also have one under the liquor shelf and this one was to put under the bar top to reflect down on the bar cabinet. I keep them all set to the blue shade which really gives the entire "Tavern" a cozy glow without being too bright to interfere with the mood. I truly hope that Home Depot never stops carrying these. The ones I have range in age from 1 month old to 2 years old. No problems and really easy to install!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Commercial Electric COLOR CHANGING LED FLEXIBLE TAPE UNDER CABINET LIGHT WITH WIRELESS REMOTE I recently made this OHIO STATE BUCKEYES sign for my entertainment room. I had been looking to add some flare to it and purchased this Electric Commercial color changing LED light tape from your Home Depot store in Bowling Green, Ohio. This LED light tape worked perfectly and I had it assembled onto the sign and read to hang within 10 minutes. Now I have the perfect addition to my entertainment room to watch College Game Day and our Ohio State Buckeyes. GO BUCKS!

The lights themselves and variety of colors are nice enough, though the white light is a bit harsh and cold, even when dimmed. This product would probably be ok if no cuts and connectors are needed; however, my application required two cuts and two connectors, which couldn't have been more difficult to install. I followed the directions as written, but the smeared adhesive from peeling the tape back at the point of the cuts caused interference to the circuit, resulting in some bulbs not working and erratic color changes. I returned the whole thing for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible If you don't have impeccable eyesight and perfect fingernails, forget about it. Peel the rubber strip back and it bends the light strip. This bend breaks the internal wire. If you use a utility knife CAREFULLY you will nick and break the internal wire. Since the rubber is 5x the rigidity, guess which will bend? Yep, the light strip, and will break the internal wire. If you pushing the light strip into the connector without fingernails will cause the strip to bend, breaking the internal wire. See a theme yet? If you do manage to get the connections all in happy, you wiggle the FACTORY clip and IT's connections are loose. This is my second set, 12-15 re-cuts and connections, still no go. Install as is, do NOT try to cut and connect.

The real problem with this unit is that the available connectors are extremely hard to work with, and quickly loose connectivity causing random dimming, and outages downstream of the strip they are connected to. The lights themselves are fine, and the controller works fine. Cutting the strip at its designated places is not hard, but connectors connectors connectors - connectors are junk.

The connectors do not work on this product so more than one string can not be put together. It is a huge waste of time to try to get this product to work correctly. We tried 6 kits to get two to work together and finally gave up. We purchased an amazing string of lights from Costco that is twice the length, half the cost and offers better warm light than this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I needed some sort of controlable LED lighting to put under a block of acrylic to refract a design that was sanded into the block. It worked just as I hoped and my brother loved the gift. This was the only place I knew of that might sell this in their store and I was very pleased with their online ordering and guided assistance.
