Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Whole house ceiling fan Whole house fan exactly as stated on the internet, picked up at the store. Customer service very polite and knowledgeable. Quick service. June 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Two level RPM moves air v well Excellent for quickly evacuating hot stagnant air. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As advertised Low speed mode is quiet, high speed mode sounds like a jet is landing on my roof. We are happy with it on low speed, high speed is nice if you just want to air out in a flash and don't mind the noise. There is no sealing or insulation on the shutter and they are kind of thin, plan to seal it in winter. Minus one star for noise May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Whole house has met expectations Our contractor was able to install this product in less than 4 hours. It works nicely for the its purpose. July 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy motor I installed the fan, and once it started, the motor made a very loud humming noise. it's irritating. and when you switch to the low speed, the motor changes frequency, but it's still very irritating. I don't want to have to go through the problem of pulling it down and replacing it. i'll just deal with it for now. the instructions said that whole house fans were noisy, so i guess they just can't make a motor that doesn't whine anymore. too bad my old fan that was in the house for 50 years has a bad motor. it was quiet... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attic Fan Good product and priced accordingly. Installation was straight forward and completed in 6 hours. August 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fan good shutter sticks Compared to our last home this fan is much quieter. Still a helicopter but on low it's pretty mild. However, any time you use the high setting the shutter sticks open and won't close off the attic afterward. I have a fishing pole in the hall right now to "help" it close each time. It isn't rubbing or touching anything, it's a problem in the hinge. July 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great for the money I am a licensed electrician and have installed over 200 of these fans and they have NEVER taken me more than 5 - 6 hours to install. yes the other comment about having a truss type attic is true but you don't need to cut out ceiling joists to install this it is designed to straddle a ceiling joist it comes with the cheap plastic filler pieces but I prefer to use thin plywood it makes for a way better install. The 2 speed switch is as easy as it gets its very self explained. If you're uncomfortable working with electrical please call a licensed electrician but the actual installation of these is easy.
