I had a 60W CFL for the bathroom, which did not last more than 4 years. The old one has a yellowish glow. This daylight LED is the ideal light for the light over the sink.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GoldMiner Great product - why are they on-line only?
Cree doesn't make a 4k temp led bulb, so I mix a mellow yellow 2700k with a 5000 bright white led bulb to get something around 4k color temp light source - according to my android os color temp application. Love the Cree bulbs and their warranty. I've kept all the receipts just in case. but Cree is a brand I trust. They make great, reliable products. I have four on a really old dimmer for my ceiling fan - and they work perfectly - again I mix 2700k with 5000k to get the color temp I like. I have two Cree bulbs on an electronic timer and they're working great in two of my outdoor fixtures. As we age - we need more light - would like to see Cree 100 Watt LED's with a color temp of 4000 K. But I'd settle for a 2700K and a 5000K in 100 watt versions as well. I've replaced about 10 incandescents with CREE's about 3 months ago - no failures so far. Could be the last bulbs I ever buy :) hahaha

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Robie Cree bulbs
Purchased approximately 25 of these bulbs for residential use. Followed all instructions and had varying levels of quality control issues and life cycle problems. 1. Bulbs are extremely fragile and needs a stronger glass globe, for shipping and normal home use. Breaks very easily. 2. Poor construction process, such as glue to connect the glass to base with excess glue to hold together, to one with a large component inside the globe loose and flopping around. 3. Three of the bulbs burned out within the first 2 weeks. 4. The warranty with Home Depot is for only 90 days, and after that you must deal with the manufacturer, which could cause excessive expenses to the customer for shipping & handling over the 10 year warranty.
5. When they work, they are wonderful, but don't feel that the high prices and low quality is worthy of additional purchases.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RoninND Excellent Bulb in Cold Weather Climates
I live in one of the coldest climates in the country (North Dakota) and this bulb lights instantly and to full brightness even at -35 degrees F. I use them on outside lights and in the garage. Completely happy with the purchase and highly recommended. Once in a while my kids leave the garage and outside lights on all night. Having replaced every light bulb in my home for LED, my power bills have dropped over the last few months by $30. on average.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rraypo Converted my home
I hated the conversion to flc style screw in Fluorescent light bulbs. The colors are horrible, and the poor light output a serious issue. But these new LED bulbs are something to write home about. Yes, they are expensive, but I do hope worth it. I have spent about $500 to retrofit my home with these new bulbs, so time will tell. Who would have thought anyone could spend that much money on just light bulbs; but times change, and so did our lighting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yorel Just what we ordered!!
We've been trying to get a 13 W LED (75W Equivalent) white light light bulb from the local stores . .
We tried several 13 W LED white, soft white, bulbs but they all produced a yellow light.
The only way we found to get a 75W Equivalent DAYLIGHT (5000K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb was to order on line. WE GOT JUST WHAT WE WANTED!!!
NOTE: The stores only carry Cree SOFT WHITE Bulbs . .
which produced a yellow light.
We needed the Cree LED DAYLIGHT bulbs.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PS9090 work only a 3-4 days
Recently we bought a house with high ceiling. so we decide to change all our CFL bulb with LED so we don't have to worry at lest next 5-6 years or so. we research so many things which is best brand and after all seeing good reviews and rating of this brand(CREE) we planed to buy all LED BULB(65W TO 75W) in all over the house. So we bought total 25 CREE LED BULB (20 OF THEM 65W AND 5 OF THEM 75W) IN FULL PRICE!! and call electrician to change it so he charge around 150$ to just change it. but after a week one of light was stop working and we thought may be there is something wrong in this room only. we went to home depot and replace it with same brand after few days same bulb gone again. Now we really in shocked and don't able to understand again we thought some thing wrong with out voltage connection. we did same thing again replace it n 3rd time happen and day by day it happen in all other rooms and different area. it was hard to believe. even when we go for replace in home depot , customer service was not able to believe us but luckily we had all the receipt so they can check how many we ordered it. so currently out of 25 bulbs only 13 were working, SO finally we switch Cree to ECO SMART and looks like its working perfect. its been a month now none of has any problem in ECO SMART LED BULB.
So if you are planing to buy lot of cree led bulb start with couple of them and try it and than buy. But honestly i feel ECO is giving more bright light than CREE.

Works great but still a little pricey. I've bought the EcoSmart bulbs from Home Depot but they didn't have the 75w equivalent daylight bulbs in that brand so I went with these instead. Can't complain about anything other than the price.
