I am a pro, and I have installed a ton of this grout, and it is awesome! Never, had a customer complaint, and I love it in my own home. However, it is difficult to clean up especially for those who are inexperienced at grouting. Even following Custom's own instructions don't always yield ideal results, but nothing is beyond fixing (will explain below).
To address those who have grout falling out of joints, this has never been a problem for me, even on shower ceiling tiles. Maybe you didn't pack your joints properly or you diluted the grout with water (bad idea). Was the tile installed properly over a proper backing material? and was the tile allowed to cure a proper amount of time? Can't tell you how often I have been hired to fix a Diy corner cutting job.
If the grout got discolored or failed to set..... First did you read the tub? You really shouldn't be using the shower/area for a min of 3 days (light use), and 7 days for exteriors (heavy use). This is tough for people. Often I will stall a project after grout, to prevent clients from being temped to use the space prematurely. Some things don't meet an Extreme Home Makeover schedule. Install it, protect it, let it cure....This is true for all grouts and sealers (except epoxy). Also, did you install it over a product that needed to be sealed first without sealing it? that could have discolored your grout as well----seal porous products hours before grout, always.
The color consistency and the stain resistance of this grout is exceptional. In my own home I put bright white on my backsplash, a gutsy move considering stoves love to spit staining crud all over it. 7 months later, and I am happy to report not a red sauce or curry has managed to stain this gout, easy to clean, and still looks as good as new.
Now about the install process, never grout a space that is takes you more than 5-10minutes to grout at a time, then promptly clean the space. Use a very wet sponge and follow custom's instructions on using a microfiber cloth. However, if you cannot get rid of all of the haze (which can be difficult on glass and some other light colored glossy tiles) don't despair, and don't get stuck in one spot trying to fix it. Move on and keep grouting. Just make sure you cleaned off all the sandy bits an all that remains is a light haze. After 2-3 days the grout will be good and cured, and the haze can easily be removed chemically. I don't like custom's recommendation of haze remover, the grout is too tough for that and requires heavy scrubbing. My experience has been to ventilate the area, get good gloves, rags, and some acetone. Don't pour the acetone on the tile, you don't want to damage sealers or potentially saturate and damage grout. Moisten a rag with acetone and watch the haze vanish with some light rubbing. Thick or stubborn haze may require a little scrubbing but the haze will go. It will evaporate quickly so keep the rag damp. This is so effective, I find it faster than obsessing over the cleaning process. And glass tile comes out so darn nice and clear with this method I find it a must.
I hope this helps those interested in this grout. A stain resistant grout that is easier to install than epoxy is worth every penny, trust me, you will love it for years to come.

This was my first time grouting and I was concerned about getting a consistent color throughout. Fusion Pro Grout was easy to use and the color stayed the same. The only downside is that it is a little grainier than I would have liked. I used it on both ceramic and glass tiles and it worked fine with no scratching.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Conbon Pro Fusion is an excellent product.
Pro Fusion is already mixed which is a plus in itself. It is easily applied. My husband used a different color on the floor because he wanted it a little darker. He says it goes in grout lines easily, but it takes a little time to wipe tile after applying. The finished product is beautiful. I love not having to seal the grout lines. We recommend this to everyone who is building a walk in tiled shower. Almost half the cost at Home Depo than anywhere else.

This was my 5th bath tile redoo. I wasn't happy with the traditional grout and latex additive products. Their color consistency wasn't up to my standards. Their claim was that sealing wouldn't be required but I found them porous enough to stain. I don't see any obsorbtion of water at all with the Fusion grout. It cured very hard (tested with a dull knife scratching the 1/16 grout line left a barely visible difference.) I just wish they sold it in a smaller container.

The product worked as we were told it would. Thank you to Jen in the flooring department for telling us about it.

I've never used grout before on anything. I decided on Fusion Pro "bone" color grout and purchased it at HD. Later I noticed a lot of the negative reviews on here saying how the grout "never hardened", etc. I was a total NEWBIE at this process but I watched the how-to videos on YouTube, took my time, and it all worked out fine. FYI - I applied this to vertical shower tile.
Based on my experience, here are some tips:
1. Keep the surface wet. Lightly pre-wet the surface, apply grout with float until it just begins to harden, then use a medium-wet sponge and wipe off excess. This not only helps remove excess but keeps the grout wet. **The grout needs to be wet in order to harden correctly. **
2. Buy 2 buckets and keep them full of water. Have a helper rotate the water for you while you're grouting.
3. Focus on a small area at a time. I did roughly 3'x2' areas.
4. Use several microfiber cloths to wipe down tile after you complete step 1.
5. If you're doing a wall, lay down some plastic sheeting or cardboard to catch any excess grout that falls. This will help with cleanup later.
I can't speak to the longevity of this product as my bathroom project isn't complete yet. But I followed the steps outlined above and it looks great so far. Again, I'm not a professional installer. This is only my experience but I hope it helps!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hdtvguy Nice grout, let's see if it lives up to hype
So first, I personally did NOT use the grout, my contractor did at my request. They were reluctant at first, but we had long conversation particularly about the application and cleanup. They followed the recommendation to pre-wet tiles, grout small areas then swing back for cleanup. No haze and the grout looks great. Let's hope the "maintenance free" aspect of this grout holds up as the though of sealing and such is not attractive. The grout goes about as far as the bucket says it will, maybe a little less. As with these new grouts you need to stay off them and no water for a few days. Since we are remodeling it will not see water for well over a week.

Stay clear of this product! I was talked into this product my multiple sales reps and have never been so disappointed. My installers did two jobs that day. One with this product and one with regular sand grout. The Fusion left a terrible haze on the tiles. I called customer service and they're familiar with the problem and told me to purchase a cleaner. I did and it didn't work, just wasted more time. The cleaner started to pull up the tile grout lines. I ended up ripping up the tiles and replacing them with new tiles using a different grout. In case you're wondering the other job that was done with regular sand grout came out perfect. Do yourself a favor and stay clear from this product. You'll save yourself time and money!
