It lasted a week. Home Depot was great about the return but I wouldn't buy again. It seemed like a great gun and was full of nice features. However it just wouldn't prime after loading a new tube of grease.

Easy to put together and worked well. Plenty of power for those tough grease ports. Only negative for me is that it is rather heavy but the carrying strap works well enough. I have some equipment where I am routinely greasing over 20 ports every few days so having the battery operated gun saves time.

I have not used the Grease Gun yet so I can only post a review about the overall qulaity of the product baed on looks.
DeWalt Products… all of the DeWalt Products I have own and there are a few… they are all great tools.
The Grease Gun is no exception, first impression when opening the packaging is wow, a great looking tool and a great feel to the tool. it makes you feel like you can go o ut and grease the big tractors not just my little one.
If there is a “Con”, I guess it might be the weight of the product, it is a little on the heavy side and if my need was to grease a lot of vehicles i would go with an Air Powered Unit but this unit will be convenient !
Also, I agree with other reviewers, a location within the case for an extra tube or two of grease would have been a great idea.
I will return and post a review on the workings of this tool just as soon as I can.
I am in the middle of a remodel so some things will slip s little !
Thanks for reading… so far !

Was considering this and Milwaukee branded one. I was leaning towards Milwaukee because I already own their power tools and the prospects of sharing batteries and chargers was attractive. However I was concerned with the reviews that mentioned how difficult they were to prime. I have priming issues with manual guns before -- no fun to the extreme. So I read the reviews on this one and didn't see those concerns so I thought I'd give it a shot. The fact that I bought it as a complete kit for about the same price as the milwaukee-tool-only price didn't hurt. All I can say is I love it. Not much to say except that it does everything you would expect a grease gun to. I already ran 2 tubes through it. Priming is a non-issue. I put in grease, depressed the priming button and within a few seconds, clean grease appeared. From there I pumped the entire tube without once losing prime. Tools feels good quality and well made. I would expect it to be durable. Negatives that I can see is that (1) some oil leaked out when stored in the case (garage was hot). I've never owned a grease gun that didn't leak so they are all stored in garbage bags. This didn't actually leak any grease, probably oil that separated from the grease. The problem is that it soaked the instruction manual which I also stored in the case just like it was stored when I unpacked it so you'll want to keep this in mind when you put one in service. (2) the hose end snaps onto and grips the zerk very tight. You want this I suppose but I found it hard with my rheumatoid arthritis to disconnect the hose by gripping the metal end. Rather I am constantly tempted to grip and yank the flexible part which I'm sure will shorten the hose life. Also the rubber cap that goes over the hose end is tethered near the end and when trying to disconnect, I'm certain that it's eventually going to get ripped off while disconnecting, so I hope replacements will be available. These are small peeves and may be things that only I noticed. The important thing is that the tool itself functions flawlessly to dispense grease which is why I got it in the first place.
