these dcb230-2 3ah are exactly what I needed and price was right too! the 203 2ah didn't last long enough but weight was a concern also because this battery is larger also. seems to last twice as long as the 2ah while only half more capacity so I'm happy with the purchase!

The majority of my tools and batteries are Dewalt and I don’t plan on changing that, but these batteries missed the mark. I have 4 of them that are about 2 years old and 3 of them won’t charge at all any more. I have plenty of older and newer batteries with no problems, it’s only with this particular model.

Arrived before the tool arrived, placed to charge immediately. Could not wait to use it and drain it completely to charge again. All my tools were DeWalt.

I purchased this battery to pair up with the 20v ratchet along with my arsenal of DeWalt tools. I love the fact it's a 4aH battery that's almost the same size as the old 2aH batteries so I'm getting double the usage out of my tools before having to recharge vs my old batteries. I highly recommend DeWalt batteries for anyone who is looking for something that will last. I've owned my 20v DeWalt gear since 2014 and still have yet to have a battery fail on me! Highly recommended!

Good drill batteries for my use installing cabinets… low profile makes them better than 4ah in my case but they kinda look like there shaped goofy to me used to the old school square look but def only thought about that for about 3 mins and got over it

Love this battery. Its lightweight, powerful and it will hold its charge. The on board battery charge light is a plus. It will help you get the job done with power to spare. This battery makes your tools easier to carry. Its a power house at a more economical size in both weight and size with plenty of power to for your dewalt tools. I would rate this batteries 6 stars if I could.

Better compact than the regular ones and not to heavy

I have had dewalt cordless since they were first released. For the price you can’t beat them.

I bought this 2.0 Ah battery pack to use with the 18 V to 20 V adapter that I bought for the older 18 V tools I have. It was $30 off of the regular price (new lower price) so I opted to go with this instead of the older 18 V battery which was $40.00 higher ($99.00). I may still buy the older 18 V battery if I find a great price simply because the adapter doesn't fit my 18 V flashlight. In addition, this battery will work with all of the other 20 V tools I have bought recently and can serve as an extra battery. By the way, don't leave the battery in the adapter or it will run down.

I have a complete line of Dewalt tools and I use them all the time. I would highly recommend these products.
