We painted some upcycled furniture. We cleaned the furniture very well before painting and we did put a light sanding on the furniture before applying the paint. We also used a water based sealer instead of wax. It was absolutely the easiest paint I have ever used on furniture. It turned out beautiful. We couldn't believe the ease of this paint. In some areas of the furniture it took two coats but it covered very well with one coat. It was easy, the product was available at the paint counter and came in a small single use container.

I used this chalky finish paint to make a cheap plastic terra cotta color pot look better for outside use. I first spray painted the pot a dark color with something I had on hand and then brushed on this dark chalky paint and it looks very nice and I'm not embarrassed to use this pot in the front of my house. It has an old world look to it for not much $$$.

It is a great alternative to using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I do think its a little spendy but the jar goes a really long way. I painted 2 coats on a desk and still had 1/2 the jar left. It has a very dull finish but that is to be expected with chalk paint. It requires no sanding/prep time and covers evenly. Will use again!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cidly Great product!!
I used this paint on wood, varnished surfaces, lacquered and even a weird, plastic coat, all to update garage sale furniture for our new home. Now, it's classy, updated and new looking. Super easy and thrilled with the results!!
I even mixed this with white chalk paint and made a custom gray to redo some particle board side tables.

This chalk paint worked well for my project, which was an old door turned hall tree. It may not be the most cost effective or the best chalk paint on the market-but it was the most convenient! It dries quickly and covered well.

I took an old desk and chair and used Americana Decor color carbon to paint them. No scraping or sanding needed. Covered beautifully. Inexpensive but works as well as chalk paints costing 3 times as much.

Went on very easy and that's as far as I've gotten with it. But so far so good.
