The gap does not seem excessive but the design needs to be improved to keep the water in the shower. Read Less

Answer:
The bottom track prevents water from escaping. The glass panels nest on a center guide which is installed into the bottom track so they cannot move freely, only slide side to side. Kind Regards, emccollum

Answer:
The glass itself is 55.5 in. Each track is 3 in, the max the door would be 61.5 in. Remember the glass sits inside of the bottom track. Kind Regards, emccollum

Your product specifications for the track and rail package show the length of the top and bottom tracks to be 60 inches yet the specs for the assembled door show a maximum width of 59 & 3/8.

Further, how does this design prevent water exiting from bottom corners? Finally, is the track designed to allow water to flow back inside tub or are there just drain holes in the track?

Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by REGRETTING THIS PURCHASE I would not recommend this tub/shower door to anyone! April 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheep handles Didn't even take it home. The handles on these doors are so cheep. It's a shame, because the rest of the product seam to be made so much better. August 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice but leaks The doors look great and operated very smoothly. We are disappointed though that when taking a shower the water splashes out of the the shower and onto the floor. It took me a while to figure out that when showering the water runs down the inside of the doors, hits the bottom guide trough and splashes out under the glass. The bottom trough should have a center dived or some other method to prevent the water from splashing out. The doors are adjusted right so they are as low as they can be but the gap at the bottom still allows water to splash out. I have never seen door do this before. For the cost of these doors Delta should have corrected this defect. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful, except I couldn't get it installed. Your installer wanted more than I paid for the door to install it. Tricky installation for someone who is recovering from an accident. May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Parts were missing Special ordered this beautiful (and expensive) door and didn't receive the handles or tracks. Returned it on the day of install and bought one in stock from a competitor for a lot less. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice Very nice. Easy install. Quality appears to be high. You will need to drill six 1/8" holes in tile so get a proper drill bit. Also caulking the outside of the tub frame isn't necessary as it doesn't leak a drop. I may buy another one for the second bath. August 19, 2014
