Answer:
From the reviews I read, this heater will cycle. My test results: Turned heater thermostat until the heater turned on. After a while it shut off. I did not wait long enough for it to come back on. However when I slowly turned the thermostat clockwise, it came back on. My garage is 73 degrees. Not a good set up for cold weather testing. By late Dec.our weather will be in the low 30's.

Answer:
Yes, I have tested my unit and it does have a thermostat; but, it is not marked in degrees so you will need to fiddle with it a little bit to get the temperature you want. For my needs, I set it at about "2" which is about 50 degrees.

Answer:
It requires a single phase, 220vac, douple pole breaker. Always make sure the breaker matches the make of the Breaker Box. Example: Only Siemens breakers should be use in a Siemens electrical box. Only Square D breakers should be used in Squared D electrical boxes, etc.

Answer:
The reviews I read, said it would heat 400 sq. ft.
That is the reason I bought this heater and from the short test run I gave mine, I believe it would definitely heat a 2 car garage.
You would need a three conductor, 220 vac, 12ga. wire, w/red,black and white wires.

Answer:
Yes, a 20 amp breaker is required. The length of the wire run does not change the required breaker size. But, long runs might require 10 gage wire.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I finally found a heater that will heat! No more 1500 watt jobs that never shut off. This heater is a simple plug-in. It ships with a 240ac plug attached to a 5' electrical cord. The wall receptacle can be easily installed, if you have electrical experience and know how. Other wise you will have to contact a local electrican for 20amp. breaker, 12ga. wire and receptacal installation. October 26, 2015
