Answer:
Yes you can use this to cut a hinge into a door, but you will need to make a jig (guide) to keep your lines straight. I would make the jig from MDF. I made one for cutting outlet holes into walls and I use it all the time.

Answer:
I would maybe use the multipurpose bit 561 along with the cutting kit. The 654 is a router bit and will be hard to see/use with the cutting kit attachment.

It would depend on the thickness of your door. This kit can cut materials up to 19mm in thickness.

Answer:
Yes, you would need to remove the black plastic housing from the 200 tool. This will expose the plastic threading on the tool so that you can attach the cutting guide.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the money. Cheaply made and I couldn't cut a pine board. Don't waste your money! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Addition to tool collection Its perfect for cutting precise patterns in dry wall, I would recommend this product. May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth it. I bought it because it was recommended for cutting Plexiglas. Didn't work very well; it chopped its way through the sheet, not very smooth at all. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for small routing jobs I used this to route a shallow relief in an oak board. With the proper bit and my dremel it was an easy task. Keep a tight hold with both hands on the Dremel tool and clamp the work piece securely otherwise you will have a difficult time controlling the cut. Why doesn't Dremel offer a storage case for their tools that provides sufficient space for the accessories? It is a missed opportunity by Dremel. September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool. I used it to cut holes in plastic and it did a great job. October 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Usless I tried to cut pegboard and it just burned it. I wonder if I the tooling that is included doesn't work with pegboard. April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just for nuts I had some coconut shells that needed to be halved and then quartered for a project I was working on for my tarantula cages. I didn't realize how hard those shells were until I tried to cut one with a saw. Not much luck, switched to a hacksaw and was still a lot of work. I decided to try my dremel with the cutting kit and a multi use cutter attachment. It went through those coconuts like they were styrafoam. Very inpressed I must say and the project came out clean cuts in about 5 min for 2 whole shells halved and then quartered. It was so easy and best of all the cutting bit showed absoultely no wear at all. Its amazing the things you can do with the Dremel and some imagination. August 2, 2006
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well Did the job I needed it to do, did it well and without incident. April 28, 2015
