The Duet Transport Chair/Rollator by Drive Medical comes in an attractive burgundy finish and combines the features of a rollator and transport chair in one unit. An individual has the ability to ambulate independently or be pushed safely by a care giver. This transport chair/rollator comes with a comfortable padded seat with a large pouch underneath to easily and securely transport personal items. Inside the pouch is a convenient handle to aid with folding the chair/rollator. It has locking, flip up armrests, and a flip down footrest to aid the user while the Duet is used in the transport chair mode.

I am a little unhappy on how hard it is to fold up. Unlike other walkers I have used you have to bend over the walker and push the button then pull up on the bar inside the storage area. The bar is a little flimsy and the button is a little hard to push. It is really meant for someone who is much stronger and taller than my 5'2" height and age of 72. Also it does not fold as flat as other walkers so you have to allow extra room to store. The other problem I have encounter is when you fold up the chair the wheels tend to slip and is a little hard to handle for an older person like myself. I have a little problem storing it since it will not stand up when folded the way other walkers can and I have to remove the back bar in order to store it behind my drivers seat even though I drive a van and have my seat pull forward as far as I can. Also I find it a little heavier than I would prefer but I will say this it is much better than a wheel chair that weights around 40 pounds

So far since I bought this chair it's been nothing
I bought this chair in December of 2015, was told that it was a great chair for indoor use. Weight limit is 300 lbs. I am a big man at 6'3" 235 not one time in my life has my weight any where close to 300 lbs. In march of 2016 I went from the living room into the Kitchen where the wheel buckled under me I went down and the chair went into my stove where the front glass shattered! Good news I don't believe I was hurt to much, brought it back to where I purchased it, waited a very long time and they did give me a rental. When I returned again waited for awhile and noticed when I got it the chair was broke, I didn't say anything because I wasn't going through this hassle again. So I did the best I could to fix the seat. Now it is August and this chair again has broken! So would I recommend this to anyone? Not even to my worse enemy it has been nothing but a horrible chair here are some pictures.

Very stable and frame stronger than others. Comes assembled except for sliding handlebars on fra.e and securing. Well packaged. Great to have tools in my toolbox like this for mobility and comfort.
