Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I LOVE IT! I roto-tilled my entire 10x15 garden plot with it. It is light weight enough for me to do it myself. It churned up the soil, cut up the leaves and made my burrows. It only took me a couple hours. Next, I will be doing flower beds. VERY impressed with this little tiller. April 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Beast Easy to assemble, instructions need work. I was very surprised that this electric tiller did the job of breaking ground even through the grass. I was told buy a tool rental specialist at HD that I would need a bigger machine to brake through the grass so I rented the big one, boy was that a mistake and a chore and it didn't work well on breaking ground in fact I took it back because it really didn't do the job well. Before buying a tiller I read the reviews on this little tiller and was pleased that most liked it. I gave it a try, it couldn't be any worse than the "big" one, wow did this little thing chew up the ground. I call it the Beast now because it took care of business and made things so much easier. It does give you a work out so hang on. I found it easier to lift the wheels in the back, it seemed to dig in better. For the work I plan for the Beast I will need a back up set of tiller blades. Now the cons while this Beast is well suited for the job I found that if you let go even a slight bit of the lever that it will shut off; I know this is a safety feature but with the work out you get you may loose your grip and have to restart often. That being said overall it is a little BEAST of a tiller. May 27, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hard worker Was worried about the power of an electric unit vs gas. But thinking how it's only used a couple times a year by me, gas storage lawn equipment is harder to take care of. With this electric unit it is a simple clean up and store. Have only used it once to prep garden, will see if it works again as easy in a few months. It should. Looked small out of the box and didn't think tines were big enough. I have a small 20 X 20 plot, just don't want to spade mix anymore. This tiller worked like a champ with no problems, tore up the soil, weeds and last years plantings with ease. Just the right size for a home gardener. Assembly was pretty simple also. February 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it, just what I needed Just what I needed. Perfect for small projects around the yard and in the garden. It is a tiller so you have to control it, careful with the cord so you dont get it tangled. March 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use and does a fantastic job! Out of the box, assembled, and using it within 20 minutes. I have never used one before and was nervous about an electric tiller being able to handle this dry rocky Texas soil. It really out performed my expectations, very powerful! I cleared all the major rocks out of the way before I started but to my surprise there were many smaller rocks much deeper in the soil. Within the first hour the tiller hit a HUGE rock that jammed it. I only had to remove ONE bolt and screw to remove a blade and dislodge the rock. Put the screw back in and was back in business right away no problems! I am sure because my soil is so rocky I'll have to sharpen or replace the blades sooner than most but I am VERY happy with my purchase. The other thing that surprised me was how quiet the operation was. I expected it to be really loud when in fact it produces far less noise then a lawnmower. February 17, 2014
