Answer:
I have noticed no interference with the Cree LED bulbs and I have them installed near computers and TVs. LED bulbs do not use a high-voltage "buzzing" ballast like Fluorescent bulbs.

No. The electronics in the LED bulb serves to reduce and regulate the house voltage (U.S. 120VAC) to a very low DC Voltage, compatible with the LED, which is a semiconductor. This process is usually an analog or very low frequency AC or digital process. There is no radio frequency interference (RFI) developed in association with this process. Hey Doug,
Basically, any LED retrofit trim can be placed outdoors. Just make sure the socket fits into the recessed housing that it must go in.

Will these led cree lights fit into an air tight can? Not sure which type of housing would work best for these types of lights.

Answer:
Yes, these fit well in an air-tight can. That is exactly what I have installed. I had traditional flood light cans. I removed the standard screw-in lamp socket (via wing-nut). Then I clipped the wires near the socket. This leaves enough wire and space to install the Cree assembly.

Answer:
Hey Patty,
This, as well as most LED retrofit trim kits, work for almost every Air-Tite housing out there.
Without seeing what housing you have, I can't make that judgement, but you can try it and if it does not, you can always return it at your local Home Depot.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great-looking LED upgrade for "bulb-in-can" down lights! Not only will LEDs last long and save tons of money, these down lights have a true soft white glow, install easily, and have a classy enclosed bezel look. September 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by These verge best I needed more of these bulbs for our new home. Went to stores that we were told had stock only to b told there was an inventory error. Had to settle for something different. Love the finished look of these lights. Sorry they have been discontinued. August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ECO-SMART 6" LED Lights are fantastic I have installed ten of these LED technology lights in my home at an entry and in my kitchen. The light is fantastic and does not glare. Six of the lights are actually used for my large kitchen and there is plenty of very pleasant illumination. The lights are easy to install in existing cans. The trim is attractive. There is no delay for the light to illuminate when the switch is thrown. I intend to install an additional five to eight lights in other rooms in the house and some will be put on dimmers. CFLs cannot even come close to comparing to these lights for consistency of output, lighting temperature and luminance. November 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm, bright, dimmable, with no delay The deeper recess of th housing softens the lighting substantially compared to other LED recessed lights. Very pleasant effect for out TV den. February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Have about 60 of these I have about 40 of these in my office and 20 in my home. They produce great quality light, dim very nicely, and so far haven't failed me after about 4 years maybe on the oldest ones. The trim kit looks good and they are easy to install. The user who panned them has some crazy ideas about how to install them. He is missing the obvious or he has some alternate form of can in his house. They take about 1 minute each to install (or less when you get the hang of it). I have a bunch of the A19 Cree bulbs as well and couldn't be happier with them. July 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent light - easy install- love it!! We had some mixed cans in our kitchen giving off different colors of light. I finally decided to change out the cans with the hard to find 4 prong bulbs to these LEDs the light was so much better we changed out the entire kitchen. Then we kept on going and all 25 cans in my house are now Cree LEDs. Installation was easy, with installition taking only minutes per can and the cans look great. No issues and its been about 3 years since we did this project. January 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than in-store "mid range" 12.5 watts and 625 Lumens About a year ago, we had purchased numerous of the model "575-L" that used 9.5 watts and produced 575 lumens, both from in the store and online (at around low $30-something each). This version had the clear plastic ring you see in the stock photos. Looking to replace some more recently, in the store there was a slightly cheaper ($27) version "625-L" that consumed 12.5 watts, produced 625 lumens, and did not have the clear plastic ring, and also had a lower 80 color rendering index (compared to the 90+ on the old version). Disappointed in the look of the in-store "mid range" LED, we were hoping to find some of the more efficient older and slightly more expensive LEDs that would match our existing ones with the clear ring. We tried this hoping these were the old ones but to our surprise these were the best of both worlds: 1. 9.5 WATTS 2. 625 LUMENS 3. CLEAR PLASTIC RING INCLUDED 4. 90+ COLOR RATING I am very happy we found lights that will match our existing lights, and as an added bonus, these are rated slightly higher in lumens than the old version July 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE THEM! I bought the GU-24 Connections rather than Edison Base (screw in). I'm happy that with them too as some of my lights would have required that I adjust the height of the can and GU24 connections eliminates that issue. Even the GU24 style connections are simple/easy to install and I am not very handy either. The color if the light is GREAT and not like those curly bulbs.... it nice warm tone and they are dimmable June 17, 2013
