Just bought these. They are definitely 85w replacement bright, but nowhere near 2700k - they are closer to 3500. They have a blue/white hue instead of the yellow/white a 2700k bulb should have.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BillMcNeil Takes FOREVER to get bright
The first set I bought had one dud. The second set turned on... eventually. These lights take ages to reach maximum brightness. We're using them in the backyard when we BBQ or feed the dogs and you have to turn the lights on well before you go outside; they're just that dim when first turned on. Major fail. I'll pay a little more for an LED flood light. I got a little too cheap with this one.

I bought two packs and all burned out in three weeks. One just went out as soon as I turned the light on after installing it. I want my refund.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JohnNY Nice light... eventually
Getting tired of constantly roaming the house replacing my R40 incandescent spots, I decided to bite the bullet and go for a long-lasting, energy efficient solution. Well, we're all going to be forced into this soon right?
I replaced two out of four spots in my kitchen with these compact fluorescent lights (CFL). These bulbs fit the ceiling cans really well and look good. Once warmed up, their color and intensity is comparable to the existing 65W incandescent bulbs. But that's my problem; these bulbs take SOOOO LOOOONG to reach a useful intensity, at least two minutes. Right now, that's inconvenient. If all my kitchen bulbs were CFL I can see how it could be downright hazardous.
I've learned my lesson. They cost more, but future replacements will be LED.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ilwu3641 Love this saw and its unique features!
Besides being extremely accurate, what I love about this saw, are features that are ONLY found on this saw- putting it above ALL the rest! 1- A dust collection system that trully picks up more than any other miter saw! 2- An accurate digital degree system that makes jobs quicker. 3- dual light lamps and each side of the blade- for low light cutting. Only downfall I found was that only one of the fences is adjustable. The saw is also a little "pricey" but well worth it! An A+ Milwaukee!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by coloradodoc Compact Fluorscent recessed can lights do the job
Since incandescent lights are legally phasing out and will no longer be available in the near future, and since the compact fluorscent saves more than 75% of the energy, and since the compact fluorscent has a life of more than 10 times the incandescent, now is the time (actually 5 years ago was the time).
These 19 watt lights put out 85 watts of illumination, fit perfectly in the recessed cans in the kitchen, produce little heat, and look great.
Don't put compact fluorscents on dimmers unless specifically identified for such.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hack Takes a long time to warm up!
This light is a big disappointment. It takes what seems like a full minute to reach its full light output. It is also very harsh white while the rest of my incandescent can lights are a soft white. I wont be buying this on again for sure.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Radha A touch of glamor
These are very good. They are smaller on person than it seems on the site . But to be fair they do give us the dimensions. Chic and contemporary look. Clean lines add a touch of shine to the cabinets. Prompt delivery and great service at the pick up counter at the store . All in all it's worth it
