This is yellow caution tape, even though it does the job of keeping people off my grass, feels different. The old yellow caution tape that I have bought in the past felt more flexible and plastic. This new tape is a little more unflexible and stiff.I dont know if the product is made from a different material now,but I prefer the old plastic feel. That aside,I would still buy it because it is probably the only caution tape that I would be able to find.

I use this caution tape to mark off crosswalks from traffic at large events, after thousands of pedestrians walking past watching them tug, lift, jerk the tape it has never ripped, even when a truck drove thru the line expecting it to break, it just pulled the dozen cones it was attached to. Don't forget to bring a knife to cut it.

In my business we have been using Caution Tape for years. I was not aware that re-enforced tape existed until recently when I visited Home Depot to get supplies. I am currently doing a project in Amarillo, TX where it is very windy most of the time. This tape holds up to the wind and abuse of people ducking under it. It does not stretch and sag like the plastic tape. I always keep a roll or two in my box for use now.

This is not the regular plastic Caution tape this product is reinforced and very thick and heavy duty. You actually need a razor to cut it. This product will not tear and it will hold up on any construction site and stand up to high winds and stay where you placed it even after a long weekend. So spend the extra money and buy a high quality product that can hold a knot and be used much like a rope if necessary.

If you have to leave an open hole somewhere for an extended period of time, you need this stuff to mark it off.
This woven plastic tape is made from the same material as they use in those heavy duty plastic tarps. It's tough stuff and if you need to flag off an area for more than just overnight, I'd recommend it.
Just to test it, I cut a fairly long strip of this reinforced caution tape and a comparable strip of the regular stuff and stapled one end to a fairly tall stake, letting them both whip in the wind for the past week. The spring winds shredded the regular tape after just 3 days, but the reinforced tape is still hanging on.
Indoors, use the cheap stuff, but outside, for a foundation hole or trench, or in any other area that is exposed to the weather, use this reinforced caution tape.
