The door roller is hitting against the other door and it's not sliding. The closet door thickness is 1-3/8".

YES, YOU DO NEED THE CORRECT ROLLERS MADE FOR THIS THICKNESS OF DOOR. THEY ARE BENT AT THE CORRECT ANGLE TO CLEAR.
THEY ARE IN STICK AT MOST HOME DEPOT STORES.

Answer:
For doors that are 1-3/8" thick, you would need to install the #1 hangers in the rear first. This will create the 7/16" offset between the doors and allow them to pass.

I am trying to cover a 96" closet opening in a home my son just purchased. One of my problems is that the closet depth is slightly smaller than it should be, so that clothes hung on a standard hanger project into the door area. Two questions... 1 )are 6-panel slab doors available in a 48" width and 2 )Do they make these doors (SKU # 200618) in 48" width? The doors in question #2 are only 1/2" thick, and would be my first choice. If not, which widths are available in the 1/2" thick doors?

Answer:
I HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK WITH HOME DEPOT SPECIAL ORDERING THE DOORS FOR THE WIDTH YOU NEED. THEY DO COST A BIT MORE BUT YOU GET THE RESULTS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
OR YOU CAN ADD A 3RD DOOR IN FRONT FOR MANY INSTALLATIONS.

I installed 3- 32" door slabs for a 96" opening-- since 2 cup knobs are required for the 3rd door, are they available from the manufacturer??? the 2 1/8" cup available at the HD hardware dept are a different manufacture and do not match the 4 supplied with the original kit....

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD PRODUCT THE TRACK WAS GOOD QUALITY AND EASY TO INSTALL FOR THE EXPERIENCED HANDY PERSON. I DO WISH IT HAD AND FRONT VALANCE LIKE THE OLDER ONES USED TO BUT IT WORKED. August 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by another bad purchase from home depot when it came time to install 2nd door it wouldn't fit. I'm using the 1-3/8" thickness doors and with the tracks provided there's barely room for a 1-1/8" thickness door. so now I'm stuck with 2 tracks I cut to fit to the opening. @$23.98 per track that's $50 down the drain unless I can get the store to refund my $ July 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good product but . . . Why mix silver and gold hardware? Makes to sense. Door pulls are sooo tiny you can barely fit your finger in them. Had to go back to store to exchange the gold hardware for silver and needed to get larger door pulls. Other than that, it worked fine. August 10, 2011
