Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SCWinter Bought for a friend's large back screened porch. Installed fairly easily into brick wall and has worked great to this point. Quiet, does a good job of heating a smaller area. Not sure that it would be the answer for a real large area. Pretty easy to put together. Pretty happy with the purchase to this point and no cost of refilling kerosene tanks constantly.

Just installed the Infrared patio heater. Tested out last night and it does provide some good heat. Product is built very solid.

This wall mount heater is a good value. It works well but it would have been better if it put out a little more heat. I needed to buy another one to get the temperature I wanted in my garage during the winter months.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Frustrated Bulb Issues
I recommend waiting until the bulb technology improves. I’ve had my Fire Sense IR heater for many years and the bulbs are a real problem. Each time I replace a bulb I have to go back and forth with the Fire Sense multiple times before finally getting a bulb that lasts more than a few hours. At one point I even got bulbs that overheated, melted the bulb wires, and eventually ruined the power connections in the unit. They claim it’s more cost effective than propane, but I doubt they’re factoring in the $65 replacement bulbs along with the electricity. When they burn out quickly you’ll have to explain why it’s not your fault, in my case I know it isn’t because I’ve had bulbs last well over a year and many hours. I finally gave up after my last burn out but I may try again in a few years if the technology improves.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CarolinaNoodles Good but not strong enough for me
Wish I had bought the 2.5kW version, the 1.5 is just alittle too weak for me. Much better than a gas patio heater though.
Quality and finish is very good

Upgraded from a table top propane heater. Huge improvement!
Keeps the wife and I nice and warm with even coverage,
Was concerned about the amperage draw, but just plugged it in and warmed right up with no issues popping breakers in th house.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WOLFED PATIO SAVER - Great product
I purchased two of these heaters for my patio living area to fight off the cold this winter. So far so good!
As other reviews have stated, these units do put off a bright red glow and makes you wonder if you are sitting under a fry cooker at the local fast food joint. But the heat will make you forget about the brightness in no time.
The specifications on placement in the manual need to be followed as the placement of these units is impeccable to its heating ability. This is why i mounted mine directly above my outdoor sectional to completely cover a individual sitting on the couch. I could actually use another one or two to fill my entire area. I added a timer switch to my outline line to time control how long the heaters stay on. **NOTE: this product does not come with a on/off button or switch, it works by being plugged or unplugged from the outlet.
The cover of the unit does get pretty hot but the base that touches your mounting surface stays nice and cool.
Check your electrical load as these units do pull quite a bit of amps.
I highly recommend this product over any propane type heater as these units do not emit any type of odor and seem to be the safest way to heat an area effectively.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by daddyo Bought 3, 1 works, 1 year later.
I bought 2 for my shop. Had 2 separate breakers put in, so I could switch it on & off. One worked for about a week. Got a replacement and it lasted just short of a year. Carried me past Jonah. I need a replacement soon, but not this brand anymore. Ironically, one of the original heaters' still works flawlessly. (It will probably quit in the next big storm.) 1 out of 3 is not good.
