Customer Questions & Answers

where this unit is manufactured and were to buy replacements parts

Asked by: VM
I have the same question. We looked through all products at Home Depot, Lowes, and online, and have not been able to find a fitting replacement part. The toilet keeps leaking water as we can hear the tank refilling.

I need the replacement flushing mechanism fot toilet #FTL2309 Fresca Delphinus

Asked by: Monkel
If you purchased your toilet in the last 3 years or less contact the store you purchased it from or Fresca. They will replace the parts. If it's been beyond 3 years, contact them anyhow to find out where you can buy the parts because it has been nearly impossible to find on the internet. Home Depot and Lowes couldn't help me either.

Delphinus 1-piece 0.8 / 16 GPF Dual Flush Elongated Toilet in White is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but not very efficient The toilet is beautiful, as far as toilets go, and super easy to clean. However, ever since we purchased it about 5 years ago, we had issues with either the flushing mechanisms not working well (It's not water saving when you have to flush twice to clear everything) and now the toilet valve keeps leaking and we cannot find replacement parts. We often hear the tank refilling at random times, and when we have a full tank but close the inflow valve off, we end up with an empty tank after a time, without anybody having used it. Sadly, as much as I love the look of it, I cannot recommend it.

Problem ONE: As soon as this toilet was installed, it began to leak immediately. We figured it came delivered with a bad flapper which is inexpensive to replace. Went to Lowes and Home Depot but they do not sell the type of flapper this toilet requires. To this day, we still cannot find this flapper anywhere even online and it's been 2.5 years now. We just turn the water off after flushing and turn it back on when needed. Not the most practical method but it works. Today I decided I was done with this manual process so I decided to call the company where I purchased this toilet and luckily this toilet has a 3 year warranty. I was told to sent them a video showing where the leak is coming from and they would take care of it from there. Problem TWO: Toilet seat is crooked when seat bolts are tightened so you end up partially sitting on the toilet itself. You must loosen the two bolts to center the seat but the problem with that is the seat wiggles around too much and you end up partially sitting on the actual toilet anyhow or fall off the seat. This too is covered under the 3 year warranty but I have yet to find out whether the replacement bolts or seat will be any better. I purchased this toilet because it was the matching toilet to the Fresca pedestal sink I purchased and I wanted the white color to match because we all know that there are many variations to what they label as "white". This toilet has been a nightmare to deal with since the day it was installed. It's hard justifying the cost of replacing the toilet because I paid $509 for it. It's not the most expensive toilet in the market but it is certainly not the cheapest either. I would NEVER recommend this toilet to anyone regardless of how modern and simple it looks.
