Answer:
You can replace with a 17 inch fluorescent bulb. But don't forget that a new lamp is almost as cheap as a new bulb, . . . . . .

Hello Angela, I’m Newf from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question.
You can order replacement bulbs # 10368, but the fixtures come with lamps.
Fluorescent bulbs last quite a long time.
I hope this helps, Newf.

Answer:
No, they cannot be linked in any direct fashion. They have a standard American two-prong polarized plug which needs to be plugged into a standard electrical socket or extension cord, etc.

Answer:
Hey there Barbue, I'm Blake from Home Depot's online community. Unfortunately this GE undercabinet light is not linkable. However lights from GE's slim undercabinet line are, I have linked a few to my reply.
Linkable undercabinet lights do make life a lot easier when it comes to wire management.
I hope this helps!

Answer:
The slim 71K4 refers to the model 10169 fixture. This fixture uses tab that you mount to the cabinet and then slide the fixture onto the tabs. If the tabs and screws are missing then you would need exchange the fixture for one that still has all of the parts.

Looking for a fixture in a laundry room.
thought this would be good.
BUt I am reading about some issues with the ballast on these units.

closest thing I could find is the under cabinet linkable lighting. model 10169
13 watts vs 15 watts???
More importantly, what about plastic cover.
does the undercabinet design give less lighting,
maybe a more diffused lens/cover???? desgined to give a subtle lighting effect?

Answer:
The 10169 fixture is thinner, linkable, has a whiter light color, and is more energy efficient than the 10185. The diffuser of the 10185 is more opaque then the one on the 10169.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product with little price tag I use this for a closet light and it works excellent. Good light diffusion, easy access switch and easy to change the 18” light tube when it goes out. This is the second one I have purchased. Plus, Home Depot has the best price on this unit in Fort Lauderdale. I definitely would recommend to anyone. Installation is a breeze....just use a 6ft or 12 ft extension cord to add to their AC cord ( comes with plug) to an existing outlet and you’re instantly in business. Mounts with two screws....just measure the distance center to center and drill the holes then snap it on to the... an Easy and quick install. December 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Short Life and unserviceable electronic ballast In use less than a year and half. The bulb went dead. I bought a new one and it wouldn't turn on. Thinking I bought a bad bulb...I returned the bulb and tried again....the electronic ballast went bad. I would try a different light. December 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does its job well Works fine for my small workbench. Adequate light & attractive appearance. Not expensive at all, so well worth the money paid. July 31, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very flimsy; died within two weeks I recently purchased two of these. Within two weeks one had died. Due to the electronic ballast these units are effectively non-servicable. They are very flimsy plastic to boot. March 25, 2012
