Where should the hot or cold hook into the base of each faucet, lost directions...
Asked by: Anonymous
Hot and cold water lines hook into the bottom opening of each valve body. The side openings go from the valves to the spout's Tee connector.

What is the average or max flow rate? Would it be good to fill a tub quickly?

I'm looking for a faucet for a 111 gallon whirlpool tub, and need a faucet that will fill it quickly. I have seen many roman tub faucets listed as 19 gallons per minute average (varies based on water pressure). This faucet lists a minimum flow rate but no average or max.
Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the only information we have is what is available on the Specification sheet which just shows the minimum flow rate.

Glacier Bay Builders Bath Faucet sku 816117 has terrible reviews, but they are old. Has the product been changed/improved since these reviews?

Asked by: Anonymous
I have had this product for more than two years and have had no problems with it. My water pressure is great, my step-dad had no trouble installing it and he is not a professional. I'm not sure why this product has gotten such poor reviews. I love mine.

Builders 2-Handle Deck-Mount Roman Tub Faucet in Mediterranean Bronze is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was trying to replace a waterfall faucet from jacuzzi... I was trying to replace a waterfall faucet from jacuzzi that is no longer sold or made. I needed handles on one side of the tub and the faucet on the other. The materials were VERY well made compared to something I looked at from the 'other' store. This was a PERFECT buy

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible Bought this faucet 6/30/ 2016. I have had to change the hot water value three times so far. The new valuve works for about a week and then a big stream of water comes out. Have had three different plumbers try to fix this issue. Need to get a new faucet

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cost me a fortuen to fix They look great. BUT after 18 months, the cold tap totally failed. Spinning uselessly. Called a plumber - they only way to fix this is to replace the entire faucet, which means ripping off the tile, cutting through the wood, replacing the set from underneath the tub, replacing the wood and tile. Cost: about $600 plus the cost of a new tub faucet. Read all the reviews here - failure by these products happens all too often. I will not be buying another one from Glacier Bay - they seem cheap, but they turn out to be really expensive, after the necessary repairs!! Not happy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible quality! Doesn't deserve even 1 star! This faucet allows only a small stream of water that after 35 mins. there is not enough water to cover your legs in the sitting position. The Hot & Cold handles do not function properly to mix a comfortable water temp. It's all or nothing, so you wait forever using hot water, then try to adjust the water temp w. the cold faucet. Now we have to tear out a wall to get it out. Not even 1 star!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Connecting Faucet handle water lines to water spout The two braided water lines are not flexible enough to connect to the water spout. The hot and cold water lines connect directly to the water spout. I could not bend them without kinks. The two lines should be longer in order to have enough flexibility to screw into each side of the water spout connection. The clip must be removed to remove the bottom connection of the spout. However, the two O-rings break when removing such part.
