For temporary (seasonal) protection, I've used platic cable ties. They get brittle inthe cold and suffer from UV degradation. Get decent black cable ties and you'll be good for at least 6 months in the sun. Easier and faster than the avove-mentioned wire loops, jut not nearly as durable. Read Less

Answer:
Two Ways:
6 ft. T Posts can be used and attached using T Post Clips
6 ft. U Post could be used and the wire slides into place.
For more stability, I would recommend T Posts.
Thanks,
Victor

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved our garden! The fencing was just what we needed to keep out all the wild critters that were eating our plants :) July 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Green Welded Wire Used this wire to make a fence to keep chickens out of garden. Placed it over PT 2x4 horizontal rails and 4x4 PT posts sunk in concrete. The wire fence is priced right , and is getting the job done. Worked well on the gate too. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PVC Coated Welded Wire I bought this product to "fence" in our backyard for our knee high dog. He is not an aggressive dog, so I think this will be just fine for him. July 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 14-GAUGE GREEN PVC-COATED WELDED WIRE This wire fencing is high quality and appears to be substantial. The vinyl coating on the wire is a real plus. I have every reason to believe that it will be able to adequately support my tomato plants once they start to fruit. This wire, with a decent wire cutter, is easy to cut to size and, from all appearances, should last for many growing seasons to come. Very pleased with item. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buy the Wire Fence! Buy the wire fence and do yourself a favor vs. the plastic one! Never have to fix, doesn't fall down. May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT 14 gauge at local Home Depot...16 gauge. I went to the local Home Depot to buy 100 ft. of this fencing. All of the shelf signs said 14 gauge, but the wire was clearly 16 gauge...as actually marked on the label. Check your manufacturer's label before buying. May 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well for compost bin I purchased this as an alternative to chicken wire for a compost bin that I was building. It is easy to work with- it bends without much difficulty yet remains rigid, it is strong enough to hold up to the staple gun that I used to secure it to the landscaping timbers and the green coating not only looks good in the landscape but it won't rust like chicken wire. I also like that there is a larger space between the wire, which will allow more air to circulate to help break down the leaves quicker. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good value fence was a little hard to unroll by yourself but otherwise easy to install July 4, 2014
