I wanted it to cover a fire pit, so my dogs would not go in the ashes. This is not it's intended use. It was too thin for my use and probably too thin for any use. It rips real easy.

Great product for a great price. Remodeling the whole house and have been using this everywhere. Light, easy to manipulate, don't feel bad about using it just once ( like other thicker materials).
Great for taping the windows, doors or else when painting. Great for covering the items to protect from dust.
I also have a heavier plastic, but this one is much better! And there is a lot of it in that box!

I've used this for years as a quick and inexpensive way to protect things from damage when painting. It unfolds easily without sticking to itself.

It does the job. You've got to be careful because it can rip easily. Take your time and it works fine.

Face it, four mil (3.1) plastic is available anywhere, the difference is in the delivery. This plastic unfolds easily (1 person) and drapes over stuff easily. Weight it down and your done. The box is substantial and keeps the roll from getting deformed and can be thrown around the shop a few times without damage. I really didn't shop price, but even if its more, the box is worth the added protection over something that comes in a bag.

Fairly easy to put down and tape up. Worked very well on my project. The only complaint is that the metal paint tray tore the plastic up multiple times.
