I have not used these very much yet, just a couple of times; however at 75 years of age, and CAN still get on my knees, it's just the agony of pressure ON the knees themselves, that these knee pads relieve, when doing a small task on the knees. I did not want the football helmet type of knee pads, I did not want anything real expensive either. So, finding these was a blessing. They seem to be comfortable and so far fit the bill. And, they are easy to put on, and comfortable to wear, and the price is right. Yes, I would recommend these to the person like myself, who wants to get down on their knees for a short task, and not break the bank buying them or join the TASK FORCE wearing them.

For years I've used more expensive knee pads that have a pair of sturdy rubber straps and are built to last. Trouble is, they are so uncomfortable that I hate wearing them. So for 4 bucks I decided to give these little cheapies a try, and they are MUCH more comfortable than the expensive ones! These are so lightweight that they don't tend to slide down my pantslegs while walking around. When in full kneeling position, where the back of the calf rests on the back of the thigh, the strap is thin enough that it doesn't irritate. Because they are lightweight, the strap doesn't have to be tight to hold them in place (with my old heavy duty pair, I had to cinch the straps tighter to hold them in place, which had an uncomfortable tourniquet effect over time). For my current chore of installing laminate flooring, these cheapies have been perfect! Granted they would wear out faster on rough surfaces such as comp roofing, but they are so much more comfortable that I'd just as soon use them anyway, and just replace them if they wear through.

I have wished for a pair of these knee pads for years. I finally got me some when I was doing a cleaning project at home. My knees did not hurt at all after being on the floor for hours. I wish I had purchased these years ago.

Does not stay in place. Straps not sufficient to hold pad in place.
