This looks great on the website. Stable and sturdy shelves. Far from what you actually get. The depth is not correct (off by about 2 inches). The back is made of shoddy material that falls apart as soon as you take it out of the box. Might as well use cardboard from a box instead of the micro-thin cheap material that comes with it. the adjustable shelves are iffy. The weight limit seems exaggerated, as the mounts might as well be 1/2 inch screws. I wish I had not spent money on this or would get a refund. Save your money or at least look at the product in the store to see the real quality, not an online photo.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by happygrandad Great product
I purchased this for my grandsons to display their Lego creations and got so much more than I had anticipated. I have over the years assembled many bookshelves but this one is the best ever. The value for the price is excellent and the end product looks far more classy than anything by the competitors. The directions are clear and the many screws, dowels, cams and cam locks are separated by stages. Be sure to turn the hardware package over and open from the back side per stage and you will find it easy to assemble and find the correct part. Overall I am very impressed with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rand Nice Looking, Sturdy, Practical
This turned out well. It took my wife and myself, about 2.5 hours to fully assemble and set up this book case. It is mostly particle board construction with a vinyl type covering. It well together neatly, and without too much trouble. My wife and I are in our 70's and I am in a wheelchair, so were a bit slower than average. Some of the construction appears to be real wood, the trim, mainly. It looks very nice and is already full of books. We recommend it, highly. Great price, also. SHALOM.......Bro R and Sis G

Rated 4 out of 5Â by RonB Very nice economical shelves
Shipment arrived in well-padded box. Individual parts (with a couple of exceptions) were ID'd for assembly. The Step-by-Step was well written and diagrammed. The backing piece (which provides the sheer support) was partially torn at the folds, but still usable. As usual with half-turn cam connectors, a few of the holes were not quite deep enough to fully twist the cam. You either deepen with a Forstner bit, or go with as much as you can get. 90+% of them were fine. I chose to glue the dowels in. A few were a bit loose. Final assembly was quite sturdy and appeared well-fitted together. Well worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by goombah Satisfied, with one undesirable feature
Relatively easy to assemble using easy to read non-verbal instructions,. Hardware parts package is excellent including extras. Veneer finish is handsome. The one undesirable feature is the backing supplied. The two back pieces provided are inadequate and did not fit properly. The piece is essentially a two part project - base and upper. The hardware fasteners are well engineered and easy to install. To insure upper and lower stability a solid one piece back must be substituted for the pieces provided. The unit can be assembled in about two hours, not counting the trip to buy a better hardwood backing. Overall, I am generally satisfied and am considering the purchase of a second bookcase.
