Solved emergency - Ordered this product after boiler went out, outside oil tank and temp was single digits. Had around 100gals in tank: added half of bottle, let sit an hour and fired up and hasn't been a problem since. Will add rest at next delivery.

I clean my boiler and I can tell that this product works good in my system because after a year of use the boiler is not that dirty meaning that the fuel is burning cleaner.

Great product. We had major problems with our heater making a very loud sound from freezing in our 0utside tank. I know it hasn't hit record temps yet but just one addition of this product has made our heater run quietly.

Used this product when temps were in the negatives and our heater stopped working. Had about 125 gallons of oil left in tank and knew their was nothing wrong with the heater. The repair man said this happens quite a lot when it's really cold. Dumped in the whole bottle, took a stick and swirled around, let sit for about a half hour and the heater started working. Can't believe it was that easy because it's usually not. Very happy with product.

We live in the NE and our fuel oil tank is located outside. We use this product as a level of insurance against freeze up and water build up during the frigid cold months. I couldn't guarantee that it improves things but we have had no issues since using it for each new delivery. A freeze up is not worth the risk.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by weekendwarrior123 Try this, if your oil burner has been sitted a while and freezes up or gelled.
Just installed new oil burner, it runs smoothly for two weeks (when good temperature 40-50 F outdoor), then it stopped. Because the house is empty, so no one is really monitoring when it stopped. And oil burner installer did mention that "You have to used oil treatment!"
When got to the house, the oil tank must had been frozen up or gelled (it fell into single digits outdoor and the oil tank is outdoor). And no one knows for how many days.
Tried to warm the pips with hairdryer and did not work, no oil flow.
Then got this one, poured into oil tank. For 4 hours and still does not work. But can tell the blockage is improving. Then we got an idea which is really works is... we order more oil to add into the tank. The tank was 3/4 full, but all gelled up.
Add 50 gallons new oil into the tank, had speed up the process, then fired up three times, let the air out, then got smooth flow. And now it is running good. This is a good tip for those who has frozen tank for a while. Or will help to De-frost faster, just add this and add new oil into the bank.
This is my two cents. It works for us. If you are not sure best consult the professional.
