Cork flooring combines the beauty of a natural and truly renewable material with the comfort of a cushioned, warm and silent surface. It is highly sustainable since the cork oak trees are not cut. Only the outer bark is harvested, and it will grow again each 9 years. The new narrow and beveled plank format creates a more appealing and elegant look than traditional cork floors that are made in large panels. Cork flooring is warm underfoot, comfortable and soft to walk on, anti-microbial, fire and moisture resistant and provides unrivalled noise reduction properties. Installation is made easy with the precision milled glue less locking system. This floor features an integrated underlayment made out of cork. Easy maintenance: simply vacuum. prefinished cork requires no additional sealing after installation. Warm to the touch and resilient, cork floors are a great addition to your home. Ideal for all levels of installation. This floor qualifies for 4 LEED points: (1) EQ4.3 (Indoor Environmental Quality)Low Emitting, (2) MR4.1 (Materials & Resources)Recycled Content, (3) MR 6-Rapidly Renewable Materials, (4) ID 1-Innovation in Design.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Floor! Installation was pretty easy! We love our cork floors. We have wood floors throughout the house and wanted something different in our kitchen and foyer. I have been doing a lot of research on flooring options for a kitchen and decided that cork would be right for us. We've only had the floors in for about a month and I must say I was a little neurotic about them the first couple weeks as far as water and traffic (our ktichen is a very heavy traffic area including a hyper large dog) but as I've seen it is much more durable than I thought initially. All I do is sweep it or dust mop it as needed. I called the manufacturer to ask them about cleaning and they recommended using a clean microfiber dust mop and spraying Bona wood floor cleaner on it and that would be sufficient. I would suggest putting coasters on table legs or any heavy furniture to prevent denting, I haven't experienced denting but I have read that it can happen on cork floors if weight isn't distributed evenly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice floor Very easy to install! I have installed several other floating floors, including cork, laminate wood and pergo. This was by far the easiest and took the least amount of time. We purchased about 35% more product than needed based on the reviews I read that said several corners were cracked /damaged from shipping. I am glad we did, I returned any damaged floor in full boxes . Floor looks great! August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect solution for my project This is a little outside the norms for flooring, but it worked flawlessly. I needed a new backing for my dartboard to keep darts out of the drywall. These cork floorboards are perfect as they provide a pleasing background and they do not damage the darts that manage to miss. And the dart marks are not noticeable. After adding a frame, I now have an attractive dart board and backer. March 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Man Cave Floor I installed about 600 sq. ft. of the slate plank and it looks great! It is in my man cave, and I'm very happy that I chose this product. I can definetely tell a difference in the reduction of noise compared to the previous floor. I have two recommendations for people that choose this floor. It is pretty easy to install as long as you have patience. Take your time to figure out how the pieces fit and don't get in a hurry. After about 4 rows, it gets much easier and the rest of your project should fly. Secondly, it is crucial to make sure your floor is level. I installed over a plywood subfloor. I used leveling compound and sanded the edges. In a couple of spots I didn't make it perfect, and I can feel the imperfections in my floor. This would have been prevented if I'd have done a better job before I started my install....it's that patience thing again. I wanted my new floor in too bad! The floor looks great! February 13, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by So So This is the 2nd order I have placed for this product, feel is great, installation okay, Im not quite finished yet but I have multiple boxes that were much lighter in color, so I'm trying to strategically place these behind the couch or in the hallway where they aren't visual..... its fairly fragile as well so be careful on installation. Finished product if it matches does look very nice. I also have a few boxes I will have to return due to nicked corners. November 11, 2014
