Purchased to work with my Z Wave system even though it was not listed on the recommended and tested products with my system. It synced right up to the module which was two stories up. No complaints.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave A rock-solid programmable unit...plus Z-wave!
I wanted to upgrade our thermostat after installing a Z-wave home automation network, but didn't want to have to hassle with wi-fi, network security, & multiple control apps. Since our last thermostat was also a Honeywell programmable, this model seemed like the best solution. Installation was a 'no-brainer' (<15 mins) thanks to the included 'add-a-wire' device (a 'common' wire is required). Adding into our Z-wave network was also a snap and I LOVE the ability to remotely monitor or set the temperature while we are away from home (or even just upstairs). Have been running for 2+ months and this unit has performed flawlessly- I would not hesitate to recommend this unit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TheHatle Product works great but I didn't know I was getting a used one.
I ordered this at full retail price thinking I was getting a brand new item. When I got it I found out that it had been previously installed. It had some minor scuffs and the backup battery was also dead so I had to replace it. I installed it and it has been functioning as expected but I just thought there would be a separate item for an open box at a discount. Other than that I am very happy with the product

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by techGuy Excellent and Easy
I purchased this to connect to my Honeywell Smart Home Security system and it rocks. I have a 4 wire bus from my air handler to my thermostat location and it worked great and was easy to install with the wire saver module provided. I have linked it with the zwave technology to my Honeywell Tuxedo Home Controller and now my thermostat knows what to do when I arrive home or leave. I would recommend this to any and all. Excellent product, Excellent functionality, and Easy to install.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LastManStandn Honeywell Z-Wave Programmable Thermostat
There are several Z-Wave and other smart thermostats on the market. However, since I have been standardizing on Z-Wave for home automation, I opted for Z-Wave as opposed WiFi capability. Also, given that my existing thermostats were Honeywell and that I was very satisfied with their operation I decided to stick with the known entity and industry leader.
Despite the guidance from Honeywell that these units should be installed by a trained professional, the instructions provided, as well as those on the Internet were very clear and straight-forward. Fortunately, the thermostats I was replacing were Honeywell and used five wires also which made for a very swift and painless swap out without having to use the wire saver module.
These units also paired with my Z-Wave home automation controller quite easily. I am very satisfied with their manual operation as well as via Z-Wave.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Adam Awesome Z-Wave Thermostat
I purchased two of these and have them tied to my security system. I can control them both from my phone, the alarm panel, the web and the actual thermostats themselves.
If you aren't familiar with Z-Wave recognize that you do need to have additional controllers if you want to fully utilize all the features available.
Even as a stand alone thermostat this thing is amazing. I love Honeywell thermostats!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sss21 Good product but not what I thought
The unit itself is fine - programming is relatively easy to follow. Only problem is that (and this is my fault) I thought that I would be able to program it remotely, rather than punching it out on the screen, but it seems that I need to have other Z-wave hardware/software that I don't have in order to do that.
