I made wooden feet for mine, about 2 1/2 inch squares, so that the full leg could rest on that block. I then used composite shims, with liquid nails, for each leg, to make the whole shelf square (we had a REALLY uneven sloped garage floor)
but I wanted it off the ground also incase we hosed out the garage, so the feet would not be resting in water.
takes some work, but worth it to level it

I don't remember seeing that show up as I built them either but it's been 2/3 months since I built the last one.

No the legs are not adjustable, but you could always use furniture carpet protectors to raise one end if the floor is not too off. Otherwise Home Depot sells the wooden wedges in a package. I have a bookcase I had to do that to, so I know it works!

No, the legs are not adjustable. Depending on how uneven your floor is you could probably solve the issue by putting a small shim under one or two of the legs as necessary.

No, although this is a great unit, the shelves are all adjustable but not the legs!. If the uneven floor was my problem, I would slide something under the "short leg" and make it even. A small block of wood or some fender washers would do fine! "Groundhoger"

No, the feet are NOT adjustable. But we had that same problem and my husband used paint shims to even the legs out. They come in different thickness and you can slide them under to the height you need.
Check with the Paint Department and in the lumber area.

I don't think it does. Mounted in one direction you would have a shelf with no lip... turn it over and you would have a shelf with a lip of approximately 1-1/2 inch in height. This design appears to offer the best of both worlds. :)

The shelf is much stronger with the beams (horizontal bars) below the flat surface (top), so that the bottoms of the beams are in tension. If installed inverted, the beams are subject to buckling on the top edge because there is nothing to keep them straight.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 287 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by storage shelves The package containing the shelves was very heavy, and it shouldn't be moved by one person. Assembly was straight forward - if you follow the instructions carefully. The only tool required was a rubber mallet. It is a sturdy structure and should support most household items without bowing. The only drawback is that once in place and loaded, it cannot be moved. This was never an issue for me. It can be configured as one shelf unit (see picture) or two separate, smaller units without any cutting. I am satisfied with this purchase. May 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Heavy box, great price, sturdy material. The only problem I encountered was with the couplers, and I'm still not sure that they're up to the task. But the shelving unit looks great and holds a lot and was generally easy to assemble, aside from the couplers issue. I have, however, encountered noise with the shelf -- when I walk past it, my weight on the floor causes the unit to adjust slightly, which makes a creaking noise coming I believe from the different components moving against each other. It's pretty annoying -- has anyone encountered a solution? July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sturdy shelves Got these on sale, and pretty easy to assemble. Little caps on top can pop off, but that is all that is negative to say. Very sturdy, use in garage for holding luggage and heavy stuff. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality shelves I bought 2 of these shelves for my garage. They were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. They hold a lot of stuff. I will purchase more as needed, for my garage and basement. July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy assembly Many metal shelving systems tend to not quite fit together and be a pain to assemble, but this was not the case here. Yes, it still required a rubber mallet to help coax some of the brackets into place, but relatively little effort was required, especially compared to some others I have assembled in the past. Very strong, relatively lightweight, easy to assemble, does the job. July 19, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shelving I was really surprised how quickly they went together and how much of our stuff fit on one. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality, wobbly shelving, Missing parts- I returned it. Here i went and began assembling it only to find the legs were braced together with a weak connector- but wait! There's MORE! I was missing half aleg out of a sealed box!!! That was it. Done. Wrapped it back up and took it back. HD has excellent customer service, so I have to hand it to them fr that. Thanks for being so nice HD! My favorite store!! June 30, 2016
