Ok, let's be frank. You're paying $10 for a pair of knee pads. I bought my first pair of Husky knee pads from Home Depot 4 years ago when i bought my house. I expected them to only last a few months, during the main remodel.
FOUR YEARS LATER, with light to moderate use, the strap on one of them broke. Sure the padding isn't the greatest, but compared to kneeling on concrete & random nails and lumber pieces, it's amazing. They do slide down a bit when walking, but it's livable. The plastic NEVER cracked.
I've attached a picture of the old and the new for comparison. For $10, these things are all stars.

Plastic is so hard that both of them cracked after half an hour of use. Thought paying more will get better and longer lasting product. Don't buy!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 good protection, but hard to use
These knee pads are durable, and the hard caps provide good protection on the nastiest of surfaces, like sharp rocks or gravel. The things that I hated about them is (1) they slide down your legs, and (2) they're hard to get off.
The upper strap is stretchy, which means that no matter how much you tighten it, it will slip back through the buckle and work it's way completely loose as it slides down your leg. And when you try to tighten it again, it's hard for adult fingers to get a grip on the little bit of strap that is left protruding from the back of the buckle.
When you try to take them off, it's a struggle to get the buckle to slide off the button because the hard cap gets in the way of the tip of the buckle.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Rabies Knee protection good
The inside lining is irritating to bare knees, which is uncomfortable when wearing shorts. the straps bind and gather in the back of the knee, caused blisters on me. However the knee protection on my knee caps was good, again with the exception of the irritating lining material. I would not buy again, or recommend to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by sagent1 Easy on and off but not a durable product
Within the first handful of uses, one of the straps pulled out of the kneepad. Fortunately, it was a bottom strap and I was able to continue using the kneepad, but have been easy on the kneepads since. Don't plan to use this product for daily use.
