I already have a complete socket set. Why would I get this one?
My old set includes 1/2 drive handle and sockets, making it very heavy. But I rarely use 1/2" drive stuff - I usually use 1/4" and 3/8".
When I open the case of my old set, half of the sockets fall out.
This Husky set has many advantages over my old set. It's much lighter. The socket markings are much easier to read (see the photos). The ratchet handles have much finer "clicks" (72 per turn, compared with 20 for the old set) making it easier to use in tight corners. It also has 4 times as many deep sockets.
Most of the sockets are loosely held by the case. The set includes a foam insert to keep them from banging into each other. I closed the case without the insert and shook it to see what would happen. A couple of the smaller sockets fell out of their places, but this was nowhere the disaster I'd have with my old set when half of the sockets would fall out if I wasn't careful when I opened it. I also tried tilting the case when it was open and could get past 45 degrees without anything falling out except for one set of hex wrenches - very nice.
The ratchet handles hold the sockets securely - you have to press the button to attach or detach a socket.
Here is a list of what the set contains:
1/4" SAE 6-point sockets 5/32"-3/8" (14 total)
1/4" Metric 6-point sockets 5mm-10mm (6 total)
1/4" SAE 12-point sockets 3/16"-7/16" (8 total)
1/4" SAE 6-point deep drive sockets 3/16"-7/16" (5 total)
1/4" Metric 6-point deep drive sockets 6,8,10,11,12mm (5 total)
1/4" 3" extension
1/4" ratchet handle
3/8" SAE 6-point sockets 1/4"-13/16" (10 total)
3/8" Metric 6-point sockets 10mm-19mm (10 total)
3/8" SAE 12-point sockets 3/8"-11/16" (6 total)
3/8" SAE 6-point deep drive sockets 3/8"-11/16" (6 total)

Perfect tool set to take with you on the go or to keep around the house for your average jobs. The Case it comes with is above average and makes it easy to find and store your bits. It also is tight enough so everything will not fall out when you are actually holding the case by the handle which is more than can be said for some other tool sets I have owned in the past.
The sockets themselves are fine. The wrenches seem a little cheap but they should get the job done.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by thesimonfamily A very great product
This 111 piece mechanic's kit includes screw driver and all the socket wrenches that I would need for DIY jobs around the house.
The selection of sockets, nut drivers and bits is an easy task and there are some Allen wrenches as well.
It is very easy to release the sockets. Overall the set is complete and comes in a tool case that is very nice and organized.
The only issue I have is the socket sizes are hard to read.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by CMMToolMan Great toolset value
This tool set is very complete and provides great value. It includes long sockets, standard depth sockets and small sockets, two socket drivers, a screw driver handle with a great selection of bits and nut drivers and two sets of allen wrenches.
The socket drivers have a button for fitting and releasing sockets. Sockets remain locked to the driver until the button is depressed to release them, preventing sockets from pulling off if they become stuck on the fastener. Forward and reverse ratcheting is a simple lever action affair allowing the user to switch direction with one hand.
The selection of sockets, nut drivers and bits is superb. Each part fits nicely into a dedicated slot in the carry case allowing the user to keep the set well-organized. The socket sizes are etched on each part, but some of the etching is fairly fine making them a little difficult to see.
Overall, this is a great deal of value packed into a small, neatly organized case.
