I bought many Jeld Weld doors for my previous home and loved them. I bought the 60 x 80 some months ago so I would have them when needed. I rough and finish framed according to the mfg spec. online. The spec with the doors are different dimensions. Ok, at least I am too big and can install 3/4 round moulding to hide the gap. One pair of doors is about 3/16 taller than the other. One pair is not hinged square. one pair is warped so the front does not align. And the wood grain has a finish defect.
When I bought this brand a few years ago, they were the higher quality stock item, now their quality isHome Depots low end bargain units. I like Home Depot, but I'm done with Jeld Weld.

Found the rail to be flimsy and would not stay in adjustment. I had to run a self tapping screw up through the top pivots, through the rail, and into the door frame to stabilize.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handy Easy to replace existing doors
I was replacing a 30-yr old set of 48" bi-fold pantry doors. I removed the old track and hardware and replaced with new. Everything fit perfectly. Once I hung the doors, it only took a few minutes to adjust the level. I did make the mistake of installing the hardware on one of the doors upside down. Be careful not to do this as it is difficult to remove the hardware from the doors once installed. I was able to remove the hardware and re-install correctly without any damage to the hardware or the door. The new doors look great!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by pnygrl Seriously?
Good looking door, reasonable price, but when I unpacked the 32 in bi-fold door, I discovered it had a 36 in track. I took the track back to the store, and was informed that "that's just the way they come....you have to cut it." When I pointed out that cutting it would remove the hole at the end necessary to secure the track to the frame, the response was, "I guess you have to drill a new one." Seriously? The instructions do not indicate that you must alter the track prior to installation, and that all you need for installation is a screwdriver and hammer. Now I need a hack saw and a drill bit. It's not ready to ready to install. Very disappointed.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by fkdjr1 This product has unbelievably poor quality
Homedepot is a very nice place overall. But, some of their products simply do not work out. The reason for this is unbelievable poor quality sometimes and I must admit it is infrequent. These closet doors are poorly manufactured. They have a great difficulty aligning properly even with multiple purchase attempts. I found that even the dimensions specified were off enough to demand product replacement. To think that you can go to this store and simply purchase and install successfully is incorrect. I had a good carpenter assist me in my efforts and he agreed with my poor quality assessment of these doors. He had a lot of experience with this product thus he would know.
I was going to purchase sixteen of these doors in my house upgrade efforts. Thank god I did not. I have learned to "look before you leap" when it comes to Homedepot. Purchase them at your own risk!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chad Plesantly Surprised
I needed these doors for a basement remodel, and was very leery about buying them based on the many poor reviews I had read here. I decided to go with them anyway because I couldn't beat the price.
I had to cut two inches off of the bottom of each door. I have read reviews saying that this was impossible, but I did it very easily with a circular saw. I made sure to tape the edges to try to protect the cut from fraying the cardboard, and it worked fine. I took the one inch bottom piece from the cut off piece and glued it back into the bottom. The instructions did say that trimming these doors voids the warranty, but for the price, I'll risk it.
I did take the time to glue in the plastic track roller and pins so they don't come loose over time.
Maybe I got lucky, but I had no problems with spinning nobs. drilled the holes and snugged them up, no problems.
All of the hardware and anything needed for installation was included. It was very easy to install and looks great painted.
I gave these doors a 4 and not a 5 because I don't know how they will hold up over time. They've only been up for a week or so, so I'll have to see if I have any future problems like warping of hardware loosening up. So far so good, and I have been pleasantly surprised.
