Everything you read about the wavy finish is accurate. Other Koehler products don't exhibit this. I don't understand how this can leave the factory like this but it was unacceptable to me. I returned it and am looking for something else. It's unfortunate because the lines on this tub would have gone great in my bath.
Also, the color is not as white as other tubs.

durable construction, finish color is clearly not white as Home Depot website lists, more off an off-white color. Swapped my light bulbs twice before we realized it was the bathtub color and not our eyes

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by meg38 Great tub for kids and showering
Based on reviews I read, I had two worries about this tub: It wouldn't be white, and it would have strange ripples along the side. Neither of these has been an issue. It's true the tub is not bright, bright white, but in my opinion it is still white and matches our white Kohler toilet and sink just fine. It also has white subway tile around it and appears to match. The ripples are there but don't bother us in the least--they are subtle and barely noticeable. We are delighted with this bathtub. It has clean, simple lines, is modern and low-profile, and is great for bathing kids and for use as a shower. It feels quite roomy given the dimensions. I would not recommend it as a soaking tub as it is not deep and the sides are not very slanted. (These are two things we appreciate about it but others may not.)

An elegant tub with extra wide aprons for storage. It's a beautiful tub with superior quality, price, and
ease of ordering making it a top choice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Catherine Great Tub - but very heavy
The tub is top quality. Non-skid surface is comfortable on the feet - nice not to need a mat. Lower height is a useful feature for someone having difficulty stepping into a standard sized tub. Only downside is it is very heavy so just be sure you have an installer who can handle 300 lbs. My tub got some nicks from dropping it.

We needed a small bathtub so size wise this worked. We installed it along with white tile and realized that the tub is not a true bright white and it looks a little funny next to bright white tile. What I do not like about this tub is the non slip textured bottom. It is very hard to clean and even brand new just always looks a little dirty. Maybe all tubs have this now? I would avoid it if possible.

The tub does seem to have an orange peel texture to it, but once installed you can't see it. The actual space inside is smaller then the American Standard tub from the 80's it is replacing, which is not bad since I am in California and we need to conserve water, but it still fits both kids at the sema time for a bath. The look is clean and modern.
