I have been vey pleased with this toilet. In the one month since installing it I have not had a single clog. The old toilet would clog 2-3 times per week. Also really like the comfort height and the elongated bowl. The toilet is 1.6 gallons per flush but with this piston design you need to hold the flush lever to get it all 1.6 gallons. If you just do a quick flush and release it still gives you a good flush but you will not have quite as much water in the bowl for the next user. I also adjusted the float height so the tank would be as full as possible. Does a great job of rinsing the entire bowl with each flush. The toilet is fairly quiet and you think it can't possibly flush that much waste but I can testify that it has been thoroughly tested this past month and has not clogged up once!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GR82DRV Flushing Great!
We replaced our old toilets on a rural septic system with these Kohler Cimarrons recommended by my friend who is a master plumber. The old toilets often would not flush completely and we were worried that it was a plumbing drainage or vent fault.
We didn't need to worry. These things flush like crazy! No more unwanted reruns! We also like the added height and seat comfort.
The only problem was with shipping. One toilet tank wasn't properly packed and arrived with a crack so we had to wait for a replacement.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ivana We were so happy with our new Cimarron Comfort Height 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet that we bought two more for our home
We bought our first Cimarron Comfort Height 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet with class five technology in September 2013.
After several months without a problem, we decided to buy the same toilet for the other two bathrooms in our house.
Whenever before we had a large group of people (with a lot of children) spending time in our house, we used to run into the problem with the clogged toilets. Not anymore, where our new KOHLER Cimarron was installed.
It flushes perfectly and with much less water than our old toilet. Before we had to flush several times and many times we ended up with the clogged toilet. It was very unpleasant especially when we had a large group of people visiting. We needed something reliable. I searched Internet for the most reliable toilet and I was happy that I found this KOHLER Cimarron Comfort Height 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet. All those reviews praising this toilet were correct. The toilet performs very well, it has strong water pressure. It looks great, it is sleek and stylish of good size and height. It is also easy to clean. I clean it only with a toilet brush and the dishwashing detergent. It still looks like new. We bought all those three toilet seats on Internet and they were delivered from Home Depot Warehouse to our house for free.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Butterfield 3 installed and pleased!
We just moved into our new home and opted for the higher toilets and our plumber suggested the Cimarron Comfort Height toilet. We ordered online from Home Depot and they were delivered in a timely fashion with no problems at all....plus FREE SHIPPING!! Our plumber said he has the same toilet in his home and loves it. So far we are very pleased with the power of the flush and glad we made the purchase. Our plumber didn't seem to have any trouble with installation. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering it. Please note it does not come with a seat. You need to purchase that separately. (Don't ask me why. I personally think that's crazy.)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NewHomeowner Terrible Packaging!
We have purchased 4 of these toilets from Home Depot, all shipped to our home, and 3 have arrived with the lids to the tank broken - one also had the tank chipped. The problem is with Kohler's packaging: the tank and lid are in the same box, and not wrapped individually. That box is then placed inside an outer carton, with lots of foam between them, but since the tank and lid can bang against each other in the inner carton, it doesn't keep the breakage from happening. Home Depot is great about ordering replacements, but Kohler is slow to respond. I just got a replacement tank and lid - and these were also broken!
Once you get an unbroken one, it's a great toilet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Randy Plunger on vacation with the Kohler Cimarron on duty.
After two plumbers advised me not to buy the "golf ball" toilet I paid nearly $100 more and bought the Kohler Cimarron. The reason, the Kohler Cimarron used 1.6 gallons of water which was a tad more water per flush then "golf ball" toilet. We have had no problems flushing down solid waste, thus the plunger is on vacation. And comfort height elongated is the way all adults should "go." You won't be sorry. It was an easy install, just don't forget to buy wax ring and toilet seat. And it was built in USA!!

You will also need the wax ring that goes under the toilet and I would also get the mounting bolts. Other than that you will have an easy installation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Starmas SIX Problems
I have six of these toilets that were installed in new construction 15 months ago. They were great in the beginning, but after about 6 months, we started having clogging issues. Of the three that get the most use, two of them clog regularly, like once a week or more. They do not completely clog; they just drain very slowly. Usually, after 20 to 30 flushes, they will clear, but sometimes, I have to use a snake. The bottom line is that I have made the decision to replace them. I have had low-flow toilets before that gave no problems at all. These are poorly designed and unsatisfactory.
