Customer Reviews

Knoxford 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle Low Arc Utility Faucet in Rough Plate is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice faucet, but confusing and Kohler difficult to work with Beautiful and strong - great faucet, but when I decided to install this in stainless steel deep sink through two holes separated by 8", I was on a costly adventure. Turns out that this faucet is intended to "somehow" connect to copper piping in a wall (not a sink) - Kohler told me this despite it being named "sink faucet". I opened the box and found the faucet and the front escutcheon plates (solid and nice), but nothing to fasten the back of the threaded penetrations through the 8" holes. I thought the box was missing something so I called Kohler and tried to explain to them that I wanted to attach this faucet to my sink and then just run the hot and cold to the inside threads of the penetrations, they said, "that's not what this faucet is for. I told them they were missing the bigger part of the market for this faucet by not including those two nuts and washers. Not only were those pieces missing, the threads are 1-1/4" with 16 threads to inch (which Kohler gave to me only after asking many times with many people who didn't understand what I was asking for). Anyway, their tech people said they used to ship that faucet with those years ago, but no longer. They didn't have those fasteners and after searching every place I could, was unable to find those nuts, so the only thing I could do was to buy two more of the solid escutcheon pieces and screw them on the back and tighten them with vise grips --- $52 later (two additional escutcheon pieces, tax and shipping), I was able to attach this faucet as I think it was designed. Looks great - works great and love it, but very time consuming and costly to attach it to a sink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The faucet is great but does not come with mounting hardware I chose this faucet because Home Depot/Kolher recommend it for the sink I purchased. Unfortunately it does not come with any hardware to attach it to the sink. My local Home Depot store was very helpful and after some trial and error we came up with a workable solution. It involved 6 large washers and a couple of 1/2 inch diameter brass fittings.
