Honestly I would only recommend this toilet if it is going to be installed in a house with EXCELLENT insulation (sound proofing), and if it will be located in a somewhat remote part of the house. Unfortunately I made the mistake of installing this in my 2nd floor bathroom that has a window in the front of my house and you can literally hear the toilet flush from down the street. That is not an exaggeration either. I walked down the sidewalk, 3 houses away, and had my fiancee flush the toilet with the window open and I heard it crystal clear. I am very disappointed in my decision to buy this thing since my neighbors will all be very aware of my bathroom habits. Also, you can FEEL the toilet flush from anywhere in the house too. So, as long as you're totally comfortable with everyone knowing exactly when you flush, I would say go for it.

Ok so I am joking but while I was searching for reviews on this product I found a very funny one stating that you could flush a squirrel! I laughed and after seeing that I may encounter a louder toilet than usual as per others reviews but a powerful clean flush I decided to purchase two of these. I should have ordered three and done every single bath in the home. This toilet is absolutely awesome and it is not as loud as some people made it out to be in the reviews even dough is not a quiet toilet either, the sound is less than you would expect from the flushing power these bad boys have. lower sit than most toilets you find at the home depot stores locally as they only have wheel chair height ones on display at my local stores.very comfortable and scary powerful when it comes to flushing 1 or 2 down. I also purchase Kohler's Glenbury Q toilet seats because these don't come with any but I intended on buying better seats than the standard anyways and the easy clean option on top of the no slam feature are just great. you will not be disappointed with this toilet tank combination install was very easy but then again I am a mechanically inclined person. Get a plumber to do yours if you fear you might ruin this awesome toilet before you get to even use it! Did I mention that the tank system has a 10 year warranty? You can flush a squirrel!!!! LOL

The advantage of this two piece toilet is having a 54 lb. bowl and a separate 46.5 lb. tank. Much easier to lift 54 lbs. into position than a 100 lb. one-piece toilet.
The charging tank is manufactured by a division of Sloan and it has multiple parts to adjust or replace as the tank ages. Instead of a flap to replace every couple years there is an actuator, an air inducer, and inlet screen to maintain.
The toilet flushes exceedingly well and is a great improvement over our other low capacity toilets. It refills very quickly as well. It is loud but the duration is very short and we prefer it to the slow filling low capacity tanks.
The three attachment studs with their rubber collars did not protrude far enough through the bowl section to attach the washers and nuts.I found that by tilting the tank to one side I was able to get the nut on one of the front two studs and then I could lean on the opposite side and have enough threads exposed for the second nut and then lastly I tilted the tank back to get the threads on the rear stud exposed for the washer and nut. It would have been easier had the manufacturer used studs that were 1/4" longer.
It replaced a standard toilet and this one has the rear of the bowl 3 inches further out from the wall. Add that to the "elongated" bowl and the toilet sticks out about 5 inches further than the standard one.

This pressure flush tank works great! The elongated bowl is perfect.

I've had some friends and family spend money on what they thought were high end toilets to only be disappointed with the flushing power. I didn't want to be disappointing so I went for the pressure assist type. My wife gave me a hard time about spending so much money on a toilet but even she agrees that it was worth the money. My only complaints are that it didn't come with a seat. It would have been nice to have a seat that matches the size perfectly. Also the instructions could have been better about how to adjust things and how the pressure assist works.
