I always lock myself out of the house, so I have to knock on the door which in return the dog starts barking, baby wakes up and wife yells at me. I decided to get a key lock box at HD that was made by another company, but came across this. You could probably beat thus thing with a sledge hammer for 3 days and not open it! Feels way heavier than the other lock boxes on the market, and very easy to set up. Once you have a combination set, you can put the numbers in at any order just so you hit all the numbers in the combo. You can also set the combination up to 12 digits if you want instead of just 4 like the others. What's also nice is it has a built in Kew chain, so once the door is remived, just take it with you then close it up again when you open the door. Comes with 4 mounting screws that attach the metal box directly to the stud, so no worries on trying to find a place to hide this. I also like that it is a push button rather than a dial combination lick. Only pain is that you have to enter the combo aging before you can attach the front plate back in, but other than that, This was a great, great buy!

We used this product at my church, so when we needed a solution for our kids who lock themselves out of the house quite often, we gave this a try. It is very simple to use. Four screws mount it to a surface, you choose the combination by using a screwdriver card included in the package and you simply move the center knob to release the face from the box. This was great for my daughter who has dexterity issues with her fingers unlike combination type locks. Also it can't be carried off by dogs or people like the "hide in a fake rock" option.

I've had mine for years without incident. Still works perfectly. My only problem is that it only holds two keys...as long as they're completely flat.
