Use the washer head screws for your application, course thread for softer woods and fine thread for harder woods. Buy them online....you'll save a ton of money.

Answer:
No the clamp isnt included with this system. They do sell this same setup that includes the clamp and a couple other accessories though. You can by the face clamp separately for like 24 bucks and it doesn't have to be a craig jig face clamp. I myself wouldn't waste time or money looking for the kreg face clamp or a system that comes with the fast clamp. As most of the time I just use my hand to hold it Read More

I myself wouldn't waste time or money looking for the kreg face clamp or a system that comes with the fast clamp. As most of the time I just use my hand to hold it in place. If I need to clamp it down I just use a regular hold 6-8" bar clamp which works just fine. Read Less

K4 Pocket-Hole System with Free Clamp and Mini Jig is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 180.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for newbie wood crafter. Be sure the case is included when you receive your system. The write-up says there's one included, but it wasn't in the package. A call to Home Depot corrected the situation and they sent me one. Product works great. Nice they included a DVD to show you how to use the system. As I'm a newbie to wood working projects, this is a great device to have.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't get case, mini jig or Free clamp like title says. Product is great. But Home Depot says it comes with free clamp, mini jig and case but when I get the product, doesn't have the clamp, mini jig or the case. Call the store and they get smart with me and hang up on me. Someone at Home Depot needs to learn what customer service means. So if any of you Home Depot repersentives read this might want to fix this issue. Other than that Kreg jig is great. I would like to get the pieces I am missing sent to me.

BUT.......... they gave them to me saying that depot online should have put the correct picture with the description. kudos to store 3909!!!!! BUT.......... when i got back home and was checking everything out again, i found i did not have the dvd. bottom line: i got what i paid for [minus the dvd] and ended up with what was in the picture. the jig is good and the clamp will help it be more user friendly. the dvd might have been useful, but i'll never know. the local store made up for depot online's error. and i am looking forward to all the things my wife is dreaming up for me to do with this thing. yes, i would recommend this, but i would also recommend that you go to the store and check out what is actually in the box. also, buy a box of screws. 1 1/4 " works fine for 3/4 " boards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tool for building I was apprehensive about the cost for this gadget. But even more about paying someone over $3,000.00 to custom build mudroom lockers. This amazing tool allowed me to build one myself for way less than if I purchased or had one built for me. Love it! Easy to use and I've made a couple other projects using it. It's a must have!! Price is worth every penny

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pocket hole system works great The Kreg pocket hole jig was easy to assemble and also easy to use. Watch their online videos for full explanation on how to select depth and screw sizes according to the depth of the wood being used. Would be nice to have a little more hardware included in the starter set, but a normal 2 1/2" wood screw worked just fine for an outdoor project.
