Customer Reviews

Iris B 34 in. x 34 in. x 76 in. Round Corner Shower Kit-DISCONTINUED is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from It looked nice in the store! Overall the shower stall looks really nice. The instructions coupled with the cheap materials made this a nightmare to install. One year ago I purchased and installed this unit for a customer and am still having to go back and check it for leaks. I did figure out that an adapter was going to be needed and that the bracing they suggested in the manual was very wrong. The plastic that this unit was made from is flimsy to say the least and would not be a good choice to anyone that has to touch the walls in any way during a shower. Even with the extra bracing and some very expensive silicone this shower still leaks and I am regretting ever putting it in. With that said, it does look nice!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from helpful tips about this product If you've already bought this product , read this before you try to assemble it. If it's the 34" version , the specs on the wall support are all wrong . You will require 1" x 3" for the outside edge ( not included) .This is the part that is actually attached ( screwed) to the shower. Make sure that they are all the SAME height ( for the horizontal pieces)and absolutely " true". If you don't have a level , better get one. The braces should be 2" x 3" and NOT 1" x 3" as indicated. Do NOT pre mount your lumber to the wall until AFTER you've assembled the shower walls. Not every corner is abosolutely at a 90 degree. Once you've assembled the walls, slide the stall into place( over the drain) and mark the outer edge with a pencil. The plumbimg is another issue. The shower walls are at least 1 1/2 inches from your room wall ( not flush) , which may require you to move your plumbing. Also the drain provided is 3" . if you have 1 1/2" pipe , you'll need an adapter. The instructions themsleves are a mess. First of all none of the screws are individually wrapped , or identified. You really have to guess which one's they are talking about .The illustrations are photos .If you're trying to figure out how to assemble the upper and lower track onto the stationary door , first , stand the door up. Line up the appropriate track with the door and " bang it " into place with your fist. Repeat for the other track. When you are attaching the rollers and guides to the sliding door do NOT secure the screws with silicone. You will need some " play " when you lineup the door on the track. Once the lower guides are in place , start to turn the plastic screws on the upper rollers. This will bring the door " up" and keep it place. Unless your floor is 100% level , you'll need to seal the bottom of the track to the base of the shower with silicone , then run the shower , check for leaks and seal where needed. It took me hours to put this up . This was mostly due to the improper , misleading and unclear instructions. It would be nice if they supplied the braces and cross members , but they don't . You'll need to cut your own. Once the thing is up and running , it works well and looks good. Only time will tell if it was worth the hastle. I think the guys at Keystone use to make puzzles....I guess they still do !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from IRIS B, ABS Shower Kit Review At first glance, the IRIS B, ABS Shower Kit looks like a great deal… don’t let looks fool you. When I first opened the box and pulled out the shower stall base that comes with the kit, I was shocked to see such a cheaply made product. The shower stall base reminded me of a plastic lunch platter I’d serve at a picnic, not something I’d use in a shower. Assembly of the kit was a nightmare, partly because it was so cheaply made and the instructions that came with the kit were horrible and confusing. At the end, I got my shower stall; it works and looks ok. Would I purchase this product or recommend it; no! The price wasn’t worth the hassle and the hours wasted trying to assemble it.
