our tools sold by home depot specifically made for home depot to there standards or are they the same that milwaukee would sell from their factory/l

Asked by: ern2
The tools are the same. The model numbers and part numbers are the same in all stores and factories. I do not believe that Milwaukee makes specific tools just to be sold by specific retailers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little tool...but... M4 cordless screwdriver is a great tool but our company buys another brand's 7.2 volt (NiCad) models for the extra torque capability in a compact package. You should develop a (Li-on) model with 80 in pounds of torque with the M4's precision style clutch and add an LED for better vision in dark areas. Keep the front of the tool slim, even if the handle has to slightly increase in diameter for bigger battery. This would fill the niche between the M4 and the M12 pistol grip which is a bit much for some smaller fasteners which require precision fastening in tight spots.

Love that I can lock it so it does not come on in my toolbox. Love that I can check battery status. Love that the torqu just gives a click and stops like a fine torque wrench. Love the size and feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many small improvements I'm surprised Milwaukee doesn't tell us the improvements over the previous model with the gray colored head. The older model is rated at 30 in-lbs vs 44 in-lbs, a significant increase for this new model. It's lighter. I weighed both models, the older one at 1.160 vs 1.005 lbs (both with batteries installed). It's shorter, providing better handling. The handle, with the rubber inserts feels like it has a better grip compared to the previous model. A complaint on the previous model was that the battery would fall out in use. The battery in this model seems to lock in more securely. All of these refinements make for a much better driver. Is it worth upgrading to this new driver? If your older unit is still working good then probably not. If you a tech junky like me that must have the best, then yes, upgrade!
