Pond Shield is a non-toxic epoxy liner designed for the pond and water feature industry. Created to construction water features or ponds with a more designer, formal or natural look than rubber liners are able to offer with no more unsightly folds or creases. In addition, unlike rubber liners, Pond Shield is available in eight colors - Black, Clear, Competition Blue, Sky Blue, Forest Green, Tan, Gray and White. Pond Shield is used for waterproofing structured surfaces found in water features such as Koi ponds, pools, fountains, aquariums, salt water tanks, hydroponics, streams, waterfalls, reflecting pools, mini lakes, holding tanks, etc. Easily applied and easy to maintain, for most applications, a single coat application is all that is needed for proper coverage. In addition, your pond will be virtually maintenance free with a surface that algae can be easily wiped off of and is safe for fish and plants. Pond Shield offers both strength and flexibility in a coating, strength and flexibility that is tested from -78° F to 140° F. Pond Shield is an epoxy pond liner that has been specifically designed to bond to porous or abraded materials. With a tensile bond strength stronger than the internal strength of the concrete, your single coat of Pond Shield epoxy will stick to what you apply it to. Over time, hairline cracks can form in concrete, mortar or grout joints. Being flexible, Pond Shield resists mimic cracking and provides the best protection possible in a coating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This stuff is fantastic, but you need to follow some tips. First, the product is very thick and hard to get out of the can. I was told to warm it up, which helped. I was also told I could thin it with denatured alcohol. The combination of the two did the trick. After mixing in the alcohol into part A, then mix part B and use an electric mixer. When applying, spread it as thin as you can, so you get more coverage. They say you should get 60 sq feet, but I couldn't get that much coverage. Maybe 30 - 40 sq. feet, but not 60. It looks great! The blue color is a light blue. I think it makes it easier to apply, since you can see what you've coated. Dries in about a day and the finish feels very hard and durable. This product is made of epoxy and it feels strong like it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use, Water tight seal, Looks professional I bought this to use on my outdoor bird baths and water features. It was easy to mix and I could make as much as I needed at a time, so there was little waste. It looks like it was factory done. A beautiful finish to fill in small cracks and uneven surfaces. It dries quickly and has a nice high gloss. I love this product and would recommend to anyone. I will have to wait and see how long this stuff lasts. So far, so good. December 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it says This is a good product. I used to recoat my leaky concrete pond. One coat on a prepared surface was sufficient. although it says to use two. My only gripes are that it is marketed as a kit; it really is not. You need to buy another container to mix the epoxy, and also need to buy denatured alcohol to dilute the mixture. Application time is only 30 minutes, so you can only mix one set at a time if you are using several, which most people probably will be. But it did seal up my pond! June 22, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No leaks! This is a good product, and it does what it's designed to do. I used this to make a drip pan from plywood. It goes on smoothly, but you can't waste time or it will start to "set up" and dry, rendering the epoxy mix as useless. So mix only what you can apply in the specified time. Pay attention to the instructions. I would recommend two coats, although depending on your application, one coat could be sufficient. This is a really good product that fits a niche', but it is relatively expensive so be sure before you start that it fits the application for which it was intended. October 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great product I'm using Pond Shield in a non-conventional way. I'm using it to coat the walls and floor of my cellar. Since it's an epoxy paint and for Ponds it works great! I used to have some seepage issues on the wall facing the outside of my home. Now that it's painted, no more seepage! Plus it looks great too! July 8, 2014
