I took off the lid because it was so hard to pour because of the thickness. Stir or shake.

I want to know more about this product!!

I am looking for a stain that's also a sealer (water repellent, resists mildew and has a UV protector in it). We rebuilt our deck in the Spring and used Thompson's water sealer on it. It mildewed and looked splotchy. We just used their deck cleaner to strip the clear sealer off of it. We are wanting a stain that will protect the wood and not peel but be water resistant, we also love the wood grain of the pressure treated pine. We live in Florida and have hot summers! What are the pros and cons to this product? We don't want to have to strip another deck! I've seen horror stories about decks and sealants! Does the deck show wear and tear quickly? Will it last longer than 2 or 3 years? Thanks for any tips and help!

The color varies by wood type and weathering. Repels rain water. I applied it to stairs and railings (horizontal and vertical surfaces) and the stain worked as advertised. The stain met my expectation. Live in a northern climate, and stain has yet to see a winter (snow and cold).

Painted 1 12 x 24 storage building and 650 ft of privacy fence with a Flexio 590 electric paint gun that I also purchased from Home Depot. This gun also worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply...The Best I have been a home owner for over 23 years. I've used a lot of staining/sealer products over the years, and this product is by far, the best I have ever used. I applied the first coat with a brush and a second coat with a roller. Preparation is the key. I used a deck stripper, which removed a lot of old stain, but had to use an orbital sander to remove the remaining stain. it was well worth the effort/time. The light oak goes on fairly dark, but after 2-3 weeks you see a lightening. Wish I had found this product years ago. Will only use this product from now on.
