Answer:
I bought a spongemop at the Dollar Tree,, basically all you're using is the handle but do buy the bonnets..The bonnets have a plastic interior and cover the mop so the mop doesn't really effect use,, Just follow directions and go with the grain of your wood floor.

I used the rejuvenate bonnet. It's like a reverse shower cap. We put it on our swiffer and used it this way. If you have a steam shark, you could probably use that too (without plugging it in). If you didn't want to use the bonnet, you could probably wrap a thick microfiber towel around the head of a duster/flat mop and use that. Or the good ol' fashion rubbing with your hands. This manufacturer makes a specific product for tile. I would check directions for usage on product bottle for tile. Personally I would not use the wood floor restorer on tile.

You can buy food grade mineral oil and spread it on then wait for it to absorb then another layer. Keep it up until it no longer absorbs oil.
You can use Waterlox if you need to seal/finish wood counter tops. Get it at HD.

Answer:
Clean with Rejuvenate wood floor cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and water. 1/2 cup of white vinegar to 1 gallon of warm water, Don't soak the floor, just use a damp mop or cleaner pad.
Of course you will still see deep scratches but less noticeable.

32 oz. Professional High-Gloss Wood Floor Restorer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best $20 I ever spent! I was considering refinishing the old wood floors of my 1950s home but figured I would see if there was a high rated floor restorer I could try first. I am not handy and I can't follow directions. See the photos for yourself. You can see the floor which has dried with the Rejuvenate High Gloss and which has not been cleaned or Rejuvenated yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% recommend for DIY'er wood floor restoring Easiest, nicest product for restoring our wood floors at home without having to sand them. Completely shocked me how well it worked. Buy enough for two coats! It's well worth it. I would recommend the bonnet too. We put it on our swiffer and put the restorer in a spray bottle and away we went after having cleaned the floors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I have found so far! I've tried many products on our hardwood floors and this is by far the best I have found. It doesn't leave a sticky film but makes floors shine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product to restore the look of the floors This product brought our faded floors back to life. I thought I would give it a bit of time before giving a review. This product did what it described. It wasn't able to eliminate scratches but it did make our floors look as if they are a few years old rather than 16yrs old. I would not suggest pouring the stuff in a S shape on to the floor like the instructions say. I did this and I could see where I had made the S pattern. I would suggest putting the stuff into a spray bottle or pour onto your mop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW I'm pretty skeptical about products that promise a quick easy fix, but I have to say that this product actually works. Recently lived into my home and didn't bother refinishing the floors as they were in pretty good shape. Made the mistake of using some product that just caused a dull haze everywhere. I tried other products and even plain old apple cider vinegar and was unable to get a shine back. 2 applications of this and my floors look great. Have just the right amount of shine to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Gloss You may need to add two coats if not 3 to make it the way you want it, I would recommend doing it by a small pad while you are sitting down to avoid missing any spot.
Date published: 2016-10-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shine Love it. But if you want a really high shine I suggest moping it twice. Other then that I was satisfied.
