Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. No. R2001 is not recommended or warranted to be used with Peel & Stick tiles. The R2001 is a different composition than the adhesive utilized on the back of a P&S tile. If you have further questions, contact technical services at 866-435-8665.

How to remove adhesive residue on top of new vinyl peel and stick tiles? I'm starting to install the vinyl peel and stick tiles with the adhesive (recommended by HD floor rep). There's a gritty film of adhesive on top of the new tile. How do I remove this without damaging the new vinyl tile?

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. Roberts 2001 is not recommended to be used with Peel & Stick Tiles. You may use warm soapy water on a white cloth to remove fresh adhesive. You may use mineral spirit on a clean white cloth to remove dried adhesive. Do not apply mineral spirit directly to the flooring. If you have any further questions, contact technical services at 866-435-8665. Thank you for choosing Roberts Read More

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Failure as a adhesive We used this adhesive to put flooring in our bathroom a day later it was still wet and any time we get water on the floor the adhesive comes up and turns runny not happy with this product. November 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by applied with brush After trying different methods of applying the glue I found that using a inexpensive paint brush for small areas worked easier for me. January 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Middle of the line product Sets up extremely fast, tough to roll out, use sparingly. August 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for the price Used this adhesive to bond sheet vinyl floors to a concrete subfloor. Easy to apply, easy to clean (when wet), and creates a strong bond. Like most adhesives, a little goes a long way. Trowel it on, let is set for a few minutes, and then apply the vinyl. I constantly roll out the vinyl every 10 minutes as the glue sets for about an hour after it is applied and then let it set for a day before heavy foot traffic. Great stuff and great price. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as expected- easy Yup its glue, spreads well with a trowel, drys in good time. You need to hold it down until dry. Probably covers 80 sq feet, i used it in 2 4x8 areas with some left over. March 5, 2014
