Customer Reviews

78 in. H x 36 in.W x 24 in. D 5-Shelf Steel Quick Assembly Keyless Electronic Coded Storage Cabinet in Dove Gray is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and Secure Storage I gotta agree with the other review. We are a government agency and after reviewing all other products on the market, we went with this cabinet because it is secure and has the digital lock that provide us an audit trail of failed entry attempts. We can give the code to our city employees and change the code regularly - something that was not possible with our old lock-and-key solution. Also, we use unskilled labor to assemble these and they go together very very easily. We wanted to get some extra parts (spare). We contacted the manufacturer who responded within a few hours and we had the extra parts within a couple of days - really excellent support on this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent secure storage Might not be the cheapest cabinet but it is perfect for our medical office. We need to keep records and supplies secure. The old fashioned key is no good because we are always losing the key or need to find the person with the key. This cabinet is the only one I could find with a digital lock. I gave a password to the people in the office and setup an administrative password for me. Also there is a key if the codes did not work (we never had to use the key yet). Setup was easy. First cabinet took us about 30-40 minutes. It was so good we ordered another one and second one only took us 20 minutes to setup since we had some experience. The overall construction is really excellent. The shelves are re-enforced. The doors are solid. The lock keeps track of failed login attempts. We ordered it on a Monday and got it on a friday. We were very happy with this and plan to buy more for our other offices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is a good buy We're using this cabinet to store our safety supplies for the company and it's working well so far. There was an issue with the first purchase, it was dented and broken on the side, however Home Depot was quick on fixing this problem and sent us a new one. It took two of my guys to put it together and it works great. Did not know there was an alarm if you enter the code wrong 3 times. So be careful! Other than that, I'm satisfied with my new supply cabinet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product but hard to put together Overall I like this product. The biggest drawback to this item is the assembly process. It is a very basic assembly but the metal edges bend easily and makes connecting the pieces difficult. Many of the connection points were bent during shipping and I had to reshape them the best I could. Once it was together it is rather sturdy and perfect for what I needed. This product definitely will require at least 2 people to assemble.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very difficult to put together. Hired one person to do it and it kept coming apart so had to hire another person to help. Very difficult to put together. Hired one person to do it and it kept coming apart so had to hire another person to help. Every time we tried to stand it up, it either came apart in the back or the side. Pieces bent but not as badly damaged and the first three I purchased. I have three others but for the price I'm not sure they're worth it; I just wanted them to match. Would I recommend it, GOOD QUESTION.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!! If you have nothing better to do than try to assemble a pile of scrap metal, then go for it. I picked this up at the store and the box did not look too bad, so I accepted it. I brought it to the office and had it removed from the box. All of the corners were badly bent out of shape. some of the pieces, to include a front door, looked like someone took a hammer to it. It was extremely difficult to put it together in that condition and after several hours, it was together. It was so badly misaligned that it was almost non-functional. Believe me when I say that I can fix anything, but this product is not worth buying at ANY PRICE!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Purchase I was very disappointed when I received this cabinet. After taking it out of the box the pieces were all bent up, cracked, and scratched. We tried to overlook this and put it together but it was so bent up that we could not even get the pieces together. We finally gave up and put it back in the box to return. Now I have to figure out a way to get a 150lb, 6ft box back to the store. What a hassle!
